Been pointing to this for a long time as an F-15/Su-27 analog for France. It never carried or tested MICAs so it should NOT get them. Otherwise it might as well just be a Rafale, and then you’ll be waiting until the rest of the Euro-canards come.
A plane(Mirage 4000) that has many possible configurations should “not come” while it could bring great competitiveness meanwhile Yak141 shouldn’t have an IRST or even R27 ET and ER; still has them. Plus you cannot compare it to a Rafale, Mirage 4000 is bigger has more thrust, can carry way more air to air missiles (14 VS 6 at the start of Rafale 8 with F4 standard) can carry wide range of Air to Ground ordinance and more. So if anything a version with MICAs could be a possibility but either in a way older WarThunder or not at all but still it remains a possibility considering how much crap has been implemented in game with “ears to ears talk(Case in which MICAs EM on 4000 are)”. Anyway the least would be a RDM/RDI Magic2 + 530D 4000 in TT.

depending on what missiles the F15 and Su27 get it the Mirage 4000 would be DOA IMO, magic 2s are pretty good but lack range, and France’s radar missiles are worse then AIM7M and R27R/ER. I think an early variant that doesn’t have MICA and a late that does is the best solution depending on what happens in the next two updates.
those aircrafts missiles are significantly better then the Magic 2 and Super 530D, that’s if the F15 and Su27 get AIM9M and R73 plus the out right better radar missiles and soon to be coming AMRAAMs.
but doesn’t the Su27 have like 12 missiles? not sure about what variant could carry what but I think it would balance out well if Su27 gets 12 and Mirage 4000 gets 14.
They are definitely not worse than than Aim7M or r27r but r27er is much better though. The only reason they suck rn is because they are bugged

Since there was no videos in the original post I thought it would be nice to feature live footages, it’s always welcomed.
oh well if they are bugged and could be better that’s different but until then I don’t think its equal ATM.
But in that case it’s weaponry is far from the BVR capability of these others planes, so it should come now.

tbh if it doesn’t come the next two updates it will be way too obsolete
I wish it will add MICA, or coming in next 2 major update if su27 and f15 early added, or it is too old

I hate to be that guy but the yak 141 finds itself in a similar position, wich makes your point a good one now that I think about it.
At least if there are no other prototypes.
Anyways… I still won’t sell my Moderna bacause I still want the Mirage G and the funny VTOL Mirage
