The AD-4 Skyraider is a legendary aircraft often overshadowed by its descendants; not only that, but It’s a beautiful aircraft. However, Its current and only skin available to all players bears little resemblance to most images and videos of the AD-4 in regards to its color and glossiness. That is why today I am suggesting an updated skin for the ad-4
The Ad-4 currently looks like this in-game(please note that the stat card is for reference only:
The aircraft in this image is quite dull in its color and in terms of its shine, and truth be told, it looks quite worn down as well; the paint also appears to have more of a matte appearance rather than its historical glossy appearance.
In real life, the AD-2 had a much darker blue color and appeared to have a much more glossy appearance as shown in the drop-down images below:

And yes both AD-4 “501” are different aircraft in the same paint scheme for some reason
As you can see, the difference between the AD-4’s appearance In War Thunder and real-life differs significantly when it comes down to color and its texturing. This change would help to liven up AD-4 and help to accurately depict the appearance of the AD-4 as it is in real life.

I know I thought it would take a while for me to finish up this rough draft but I’m almost done ill open it in a few minutes

The game usually does this with planes that have way too similar variants. For example the SB2C-1C and SB2C-4, just like with the AD-2 and AD-4
the ad-2 even has an issue with is coloring as well
ye but i think it might be on purpose but idk
actually it uses a real paint scheme but one that was very uncommon and I could only find references to it being used, no actual images outside of wt use it that I could find though
I am surprised how little attention is given to the Skyraider considering what a CAS legend it is.It seems almost buried in the game.The skins on all of them are really underwhelming.
I also think it would make a great premium as my CAS is a way behind my Tanks in GRB.
skins? what skins? A1H is the only one with a skin other than its default (As far as I’m aware)
C’mon mate do you even speak English? Im taking overall the Skyraider looking terrible in the game when it was plane that had some of the best pint jobs in aviation history. Its not rocket science bro : )
You have to remember that console cant do all the fantastic PC modding ,so we need Gaijin to create better looking stuff for the game. So many models of planes and Tanks look like they have been under the sea for fifty years.
I know I was being sarcastic, skyraider looks great IRL but in game is just… trash? is that the word?
