Because it is not a minor thing. That’s the whole fucking point. It completely negates the best AA systems in-game, and also renders helicopters completely invulnerable to all A2A missiles(with their fantasy stealth RF returns while hovering)
So tell me what aircraft added was missing it’s AIM-54 equivalent? Or even what benefit it even gave to anyone that isn’t shooting at cro-magnans like you?

they negate the major one that is effective against helicopters, SARH and ARH missiles are very ineffective against helicopters in game
from everything ive seen in game they do protect from all angles

I really doubt that this system could counter TY90, even some late version AIM92.
Well it’s not like the existing DIRCM systems can’t, why treat it any differently?

DAIRCM is specificaly american iirc. I wpuldnt know anything else about other nations helis.
yeah but this pod thing has stumped us for a long time and it does seem to be some sort of LWS and the images u shared seemed to have a familiar sensor unit

Maybe i wouldnt know. There has been no contract mentions of exporting it as of this year. DAIRCM is also tons of tiny little sensor/bean directors not one big one.

Theres no reason why it shouldnt. This is a brand new top of the line system designed to counter the latest manpads and ir missiles.
