In my opinion, such a tree as already connected with Poland or another country makes no sense, because 3 USSR is not needed in the game

Extended Czechoslovak ground tree

Hi there. I want to reveal to you something i have been working on for a while now - an extended version of my ground tree. This version includes preety much every single vehicle that was either produced or used by Czechoslovakia and its succesor states that i could find. There are also paper designs included in this version, aswell as some vehicles that could work in the game, but would probably be either very ineffective or just straigh up memes (flamethrower Hetzer, mine-clearing bmp with 24 projectiles with proxy fuse packed with explosives, heavy MLRS and so on).

Important read

BRs of vehicles, just like their ranks and placement in the tree are only approximate. Some of the BRs have not been upgraded since a long time, and im not planning to update them (reason being Gaijin changing BRs all the time and it would be nearly impossible for me and just not worth it to keep up with the changes). Vehicles also arent foldered/ranked by the new standard that will be implemented starting with the next update (new system seems quite confusing to me) and im also not planning to change it (exept for maybe in the regular proposal). This version of my proposal is meant to show all the possible additions into the Czechoslovak techtree (if it gets added one day), to show lineups etc. There are also some less practical vehicles in the tree that probably would not work in-game without implementation of new mechanics, but i included them anyway as i still find those interesting and i think their addition is not impossible.

Czech goverment is currently in talks with Germany about purchase of over 70 Leopard 2A8 MBTs. The tank in the picture isnt an actual Leopard 2A8 (that one isnt produced yet AFAIK). Its a demonstrator based on Leopard 2A7DK meant to show capabilities of Leopard 2A8 and it will work as a placeholder until the real 2A8 is revealed.

Ehhh…nothing against your work…but i dont think that adding pretty much a paper tanks would be a good idea. It is nice to see some crazy project we had, but it doesnt fit into the TT.

Thats the reason why i added them into the extended proposal only. I also don’t think paper designs (maybe exept for a few interesting ones) would get actually added into the game. Extended proposal is meant to show all of the possible additions, including paper and copy-paste designs. Its not meant to show how the tree will actually look like (it would look nothing like that nor be even close to being so big), more like all of the lineups they are able to create and vehicles they are able to add.

I must say the only paper tanks i would love to see would be the LP-152 and LP-257. Which would be pretty much deadlier ZSU-52-2. Epsecialy with crew hidden inside the tanks, even tho the hull was T-34/85. Still those 2 would be interesting

There is no info on Czech 57 mm AP ammunition. Probably there was none, only plans were to make them. The only things I found that would maybe work ingame are training rounds. Those are basically HE shells filled with clay instead of explosives. If it will be classified as AP it would have a penetration just over 90 mm.

Well, there was 57mm AP ammunition for prptottpe A-25 gun, but yeah, nothing besides HE and training for R-10

Yeah but that has a different cartridge. With that logic ZSU-57-2 APHE also works. But it should not in my opinion. Training rounds with decreased penetration to about 55-70 mm should work, at a BR… Maybe 5.7-6.0.

I think i read somewhere that there were planned a HE and AP rounds for those guns to go with. But like theAftiksPL said, the same 57mm that was on R 10 only used HE and training rounds.

Yes, AP was planned, but without any information it shouldnt be ingame.

I like the concept and I wouldn’t mind seeing prototype or paper vehicles in if it’s within reason and nothing super crazy, however don’t you think that certain thing wouldn’t work at all in wt? I mean things like Mortar Pandur, Pion, Burevij, 8x8 Caesar.

At MSPO 2023 there were shown Prototypes of Ottokar-Brzoza and Anti drone system also based on Waran 4x4

The Prototype has 6 instead of 4 Brimstone launchers that were on the pre-production model and it lacks roof mounted rcws

This is Waran mounted with 12.7mm ZSMU A3B remote control turret intended for use against UAVs

I’m not sure how effective they’ll would be ,but it’s a possible addition to the tech tree.

Im indeed aware that some of the vehicles in the extended tree probably would not work in the game or would be very rarely useable.

Pion would work, but it’ll be a meme derp gun similiarly to Sturmtiger. Hardly useable in most cases, but still preety fun (compared to Sturmtiger it also has slightly better reload, much better velocity and slightly better mobility)

Burevij would work similiarly to Andriusha (or whatever that katyusha with big rockets Is). Actually, it would work even better, because unlike most MLRS systems we have in-game, it has minimal depression of 0°. Its rockets also would destroy anything in a single hit. Again, Burevij would be more of a meme vehicle, but it would work.

Pandur with Mortar more than probably wouldn’t work in the current state of game. If gaijin implements some system of indirect fire (not like in WOT obviously, but something similiar to enlisted’s mortar squads), it could work, but only against static targets, capture points etc. Again, very situational, and way less usefull than those named before. I actually have one self-propelled mortar in the researchable line already - the PRAM-S, but that one compared to pandur has only 3 second reload and, most importantly, 4 Konkurs ATGMs, so that one shouldnt have much problems.

Caesar probably won’t work at all. I put it into the extended tree just to show that it could be added, but i really, really doubt it would be usefull even if they implemented indirect fire or larger maps.

The limited usefullness of the vehicles named above is one of the main reasons why i haven’t addded these vehicles into the regular suggestion (just the extended one) and i completely agree some of them would probably not work in War Thunder (there are about 5 of such vehicles that i know of)

Well, the chassis is modified Czech Patriot II for Polish service. Plus it has Tatra suspension and a Tatra motor.
