As far as i know there is no evidence they ever put liners into it since it was only ever a prototype. (Same with the MK.IV)

What hull does it use

Likely a MK.II or a MK.III not sure actually.

There is also a MK.IV version that has been shown in promotional videos.

(IRL, don’t know for in game)

I jsut checked an the 1998 version is stated to withstand 30mm adps from the front. The cv90 hull that can do that is the 9040c hull which has the composite on the front. It also fits the timeframe. So in theory it should have the spall liners

Link to source?

no idea if this source has any truth behind it so take it with a grain of salt

correction the 9040b can also withstand 30mm adps so it might also just be 9040b chassis but the cv90120 definitely shares the chassis with the cv9040b and d

Hmm not sure about the source, i think they usually just gather info from other sources.

But i think the MK.I hull also has improved armor compared to the MK.0 That is the “original” bought by Sweden which was then later improved to the A/B/C versions.

There are also several version of the CV90120 with different hulls and different turrets.

the cv90120 ingame is the first version of the cv90120 I think. It looks identical to the 9040b and 9040c hull and I think they compelety same too. Only difference is the engine being the dc16 instead of the ds14. I don’t think there is a single source that can confirm or deny the fact that it had spall liners simply bc it was a prototype.

I don’t think you can visually see the difference in the hulls. I think the version that is in the game is the CV90120-T due to the commander sight on top.

This one is the ingame one i think and and its relatively new and still sold by bae

That is the MK.IV so no that isn’t the in game version.

The one ingame is tricky to find on the internet. I haven’t found a single version with those commander sights. But id say its safe to assume that it did have spall liners at least as an option considering the entire cv90 family is modular

ony the second image has the correct sight. The first image lacks the base under the ball

You’re right, i clicked the wrong image, i’ll update.

yeah thats the one. Do you know which model that is ?

There isn’t a specific one, they are all called CV90120-T . It’s just a specific turret, the hull has been changed one some but not others, some have the commanders sights and some has a remote weapons station instead. This is why researching the CV90 is so hard… They don’t really name the specific configurations unless a country buys them, they just name the “base” of it.
