What needs to happen is Ground need to be extended BR wise so that they can have differing BR’s and performance. Theres no reason to play the CV90120 if we get the Ghost version which can hide its thermal signature while at the same BR
Thats another point, but Ghost is a higly advanced and a new variant with iron fist, could be at 12.7,and gaijin could add the CV90120-T E30 with AMAP ADS, MAW,RWR/LWS, Coaxial gun, at 12.0 and the existing one could stay 25tons and stay at 11.7
400k rp for a vehicle with slight changes, something like gaijin would do (hello f-18c)
anyways, it could be put into the modification tab of 90120 (similiar stuff was already done with 2S6)
Literally sweden air in a nutshell. JA37Di, F-18, Gripen. Its never ending lol
Btw only sweden suffer from unnecesarry grind
Few other do to but we’re going off topic
Same happened with the cv90mkiv you got a worse armor less reliable misile, less reliable cannon, no autotracker, worse fire rate, and the line goes on
Back to topic cv90120 not deserve the weight nerf if it doesnt get its E30 upgrade package, which contains the amap APS,RWS and the plus armor
Tho It alr3ady should have Maw and active protection via smoke grenades when missile comes
This just got added to an eBay listing for another Hagglunds CV90120 Brochure.
Lists it as 25t with 600hp. I know its not the variant that gaijin has in-game but its interesting that it says 2nd gen thermals + its cut off a little bit but significantly better horizontal/vertical traverse (already bug reported and accepted 6 months ago but not acted on)
Also here is a secondary french source of the current War Thunder CV90120 variant weight as 26t stock, 28t combat order and 35t additional armour, all while retaining the 800hp (600kw) engine.
This brochure depicts an entirely different version. It still uses the old 90120 turret, which used semi-automatic loading mechanism (loading assist), external smoke-dischargers and different optronics.
Here's the 2002 brochure, which is basically the ingame CV90120-T with the only difference being that this one still uses the CV90 Mk. 2 hull, wheras the ingame version uses the Mk. 3 hull

And this is the brochure the ingame vehicle is based on (2006);

This would be the 35t variant of the vehicle btw; (first shown in 2006 aswell, minus the RC .50cal)
Yes I am aware it is a different CV90120 variant. Hopefully the secondary source of my 2nd comment is useful for you regarding the weight configs
@Gunjob any news on this bug report? Seems like a straight cut easy fix that has been ignored for 10 months: Community Bug Reporting System
It got new replies yesterday
hmmm
Depending on which RUAG docs he means, then I could also provide them - however the comments are closed to everyone but staff and the op.
You’ll probably need to dm a tech mod to unlock comments
My very honest opinion about these things is that they nerfing the cv90120 because the Cv 90120 MKIV is in development
Is that true? All I’ve seen is a brochure.
The CV90120 MK IV only exists as a concept/3d render currently.
No prototype has been built based on that chassis thus far.
