The CV 90120-T had several sub variants over the years, not just one (iirc there are 4 or 5 different CV 90120-T variants since 2006). the original CV 90120 you are referring to did also lack a lot of things the current 90120 has in game (the optics, smoke launchers etc). Further, the 90120 is an interchangeable platform, the turret can be fitted on all CV 90 hulls/variants since the late 90s so there is not just 1 CV 90120. (Also: The Brochure refers to a “variant” of the 90120-T turret fitted on the hull which is in game used by the CV 9035 from what I can find)

Gaijin uses the 2006 BAE System Hägglunds brochure of the CV90120-T.
They have linked it in previous reports’ comments.

A report regarding the weight has been accepted yesterday, from what I could gather so far, it appears that the ingame CV90120-T should have a weight of approx. 28t (2002 brochure figure) and max weight of 35t if fitted with all additional equipment (i.e. thicker composite screens w/ the integrated hard-kill APS, presented in 2006)

Here are the accepted reports so far;

CV90120 got bunch of things that aren’t correct. The whole thing is far more complicated than the single vehicle in game. Just like the mkiv which has bunch of variants and somehow they have the audacity of choosing the worst variant to add to the game and call it CV90MkIV. The CV90120 has bunch of improvement that are needed.
Given the current meta of the game, we need the AMAP-ADS. For issues, I think there’s also a report on the gun drive that was accepted months ago and still haven’t reach the game.

The model ingame have MAW as well but not implemented there are IIR sensors all around the turret which gives almost 360 degree spherical coverage, which should be implemented, if we ask gaijin which variant they added from the cv 90120 series they couldnt answer it

They did though:

CV90120-T 2006 base configuration

Does make me wonder if they are planning any new models of the the CV90120, would be nice to see some of the other early 2000’s models or some of the later ones like Ghost

After they increased the weight on CV by now, they could give it 1000Hp amap ADS and everything and be a 35ton vehicle

Wpuld be better to add a new CV imo, revert the changes to the current one and make it historical then add the later models as a foldered vehicle

Whatever solution for me both could be good, to be fair if you grind 400k for almost indentical vehicle just better in every aspect, not worth it, upgrade the existing one, or make a new one foldered

What needs to happen is Ground need to be extended BR wise so that they can have differing BR’s and performance. Theres no reason to play the CV90120 if we get the Ghost version which can hide its thermal signature while at the same BR

Thats another point, but Ghost is a higly advanced and a new variant with iron fist, could be at 12.7,and gaijin could add the CV90120-T E30 with AMAP ADS, MAW,RWR/LWS, Coaxial gun, at 12.0 and the existing one could stay 25tons and stay at 11.7

400k rp for a vehicle with slight changes, something like gaijin would do (hello f-18c)

anyways, it could be put into the modification tab of 90120 (similiar stuff was already done with 2S6)

Literally sweden air in a nutshell. JA37Di, F-18, Gripen. Its never ending lol

Btw only sweden suffer from unnecesarry grind

Few other do to but we’re going off topic

Same happened with the cv90mkiv you got a worse armor less reliable misile, less reliable cannon, no autotracker, worse fire rate, and the line goes on

Back to topic cv90120 not deserve the weight nerf if it doesnt get its E30 upgrade package, which contains the amap APS,RWS and the plus armor

Tho It alr3ady should have Maw and active protection via smoke grenades when missile comes

This just got added to an eBay listing for another Hagglunds CV90120 Brochure.

Lists it as 25t with 600hp. I know its not the variant that gaijin has in-game but its interesting that it says 2nd gen thermals + its cut off a little bit but significantly better horizontal/vertical traverse (already bug reported and accepted 6 months ago but not acted on)
