Then why are you even trying to talk about the benefits of such a system, when you do not even take in consideration each Rank and how negatively it can impact the game as a whole? You’re actively straw manning your points by solely focusing on top tier and omitting the other 80%-90% of the game structure, which is required to go through in order to achieve the top tier you choose to focus on to begin with.
I’m just excited because it allows me to flesh out my lineups with relevant CAS, which is something i’ve never been good at since i tend to do the other thing and build lineups around CAS, which in some cases leaves me with tanks 0.3/0.7brs lower than said CAS vehicle
I can find a post of me saying ts would happen holy peak
can I use Italian-made premium helicopters or planes along with Italian tanks in arcade battles?
That makes sense.
Planes come with missiles stock. That is what the floor BR will be based off of.
See if the presets for this were based on historical configurations through the aircraft’s history that would be alright, but we both know Gaijin is just going to copy paste whatever random assortment of modifications they want
The point at its core is that its the players choice. Not the devs.
No more “We want it at this BR so no”.
Hopefully they will make them far more different than just the radar in the future.
E-Scan can get all of P4E. Like more CMs, better RWR, Better ECM, AMK, CFTs, different cockpit, Different HMD, etc etc
Lets us remove the ATGM from the BMP-1/2 and let us use it in lower BR
If you choose to uptier your plane by adding ARH missiles/other uprades, then yes.
Think about it like choosing to play the F-18C early vs late, or as gaijin showed, an ARH equipped/ not equipped version of the Mig-21Bison.
But if you choose not to take ARH missiles and the uptier/downtier mechanic drags your into the BR where there are ARH anyways, what was the point then? To clarify, Im not trying to dog on this. Just trying to understand how it works. Or is there going to be enough room in the BR range of vehicles that will never happen? And if that is the case, then again…what was the point?
I was thinking another idea,
they could have put RP discounts for dupe planes that has same/or near identical research module just so you won’t painstakingly grind it again on what is essentially the same plane but with updated radars and other avionics. If you bought the first one, spade it or done researched specific module and then going for 2nd one should receive RP discount for their modules
Gaijin doesnt know how to decompress properly. So thats never gunna be addressed.
But the way I see it, is that we can now get weapon/aircraft combos that would probably not be smart before, but it doesnt matter because its the players choice if you want the consequence of that.
For example:
Jaguar GR3A
Harrier Gr7/9
Tornado F3 Late
Tornado GR4
Sea Harrier FA2
can all get ASRAAM, which from a BR standpoint, is probably gunna be really bad for them, but fun to mess about with nonetheless.
So if you want a reasonable BR for them , stick with 9L/9Ms respectively. But want the crazy BR with ASRAAMs, then you can
Thats just folders
At least there might be some more viable 1 tank+ 1 CAS line ups
As Im not sure what GJ was even trying to achieve other than more 1 death leavers with these BR changes
nah I mean modules in the 2nd plane, like yes foldered plane does have discounted research but not their modules, so if you done researching the main plane, your 2nd plane should get discounted module that you already researched first
The stock grind is all about making money for Gaijin. So they dont have any incentive in making it less annoying, especially when grinding multiple similar aircraft back to back
We currently dont plan to remove any aircraft variants.
Is there any planned “hard limit” on the BR ranges an aircraft could have?
For example Hawk T1 no AAM = 7.3 with 2x 9Ls 10.0/10.3?
