FINALLY, a MASSIVE improvement.

Hopefully we see this expanded to everything where possible. (AIM-9X and AIM-120C on my AV-8B Plus when Gaijin?)

Looks great! With this there’s finally no more need to hold back weapons for balance, and we can instead see them as an optional feature for players that want to use them!

I’m especially excited for the F-4EJ Kai receiving AAM-3 like this personally, but there are a lot more than just this one that would benefit.

Let’s take the German Tiger UHT helicopter as an example. Suppose its base configuration is assigned a Battle Rating of 11.0, while researching the PARS 3 LR missiles unlocks the option to play at a BR of 12.7. You will then have a choice: play at the higher Battle Rating, utilizing fire-and-forget missiles that allow you to retreat behind cover immediately after an attack, or return to Battle Rating 11.0, where these specific missiles are not available, but other air-to-ground guided missiles with semi-automatic or laser guidance remain available.

This is awesome for heli trees that have not many options to still be able to use a heli with appropriate weaponry!

ALARM for Jag, Tonka, Hawks, etc. They can now just get a higher BR in GRB when used.

9LS for Jags, Phantoms, etc

9Ms for SHar, Tonka, etc

ASRAAM for Tonkas, FA2, etc.

We might now actually see a Tornado F3 Late with ASRAAM and Aim-120C5s

“balance” now shouldnt be a problem if equipping a 13.7 jet with a powerful missile throws it into the highest BR

What BR would show in the stat card for vehicles I haven’t researched or bought yet? The highest possible BR, or the current BR? I like this change, but this could make planning line-ups a huge pain
