Stated on the title. rn i’m starting again and im trying to find a plane that works for me. haven’t considered the right tree yet as I have so many choices.
Side note I have an account before that has gotten top tier in like 2 tree. Got too used to top tier and my lowest prop endeavour from that point on was Rank IV/superprops so I forgot which rank 3 is good. pointers?
F4U-4 is an amazing fighter in air SB. It’s got INCREDIBLE horsepower, very good flaps for low speed viability, has airbrakes (the landing gear) to avoid over-speeding and to help in over-shoots and very good roll rate.
Turn-rate wise, it’s on par with Bf 109 Gustavs.
With the “Tracer” or “Stealth” belts, it has very good firepower under 500 meters (where you will penetrate all aircraft and destroy components, pilots and cause fires). Over 500 meters it has very good ballistics still.
P-63A5 is also an amazing plane in SB and comparable to 109 Gustavs in agility.
The Bf 109 F-4 is one of the most fun tier 3 planes with full-real controls, but it’s massively hampered by instructor in air RB for agility.
G.55 Sottoserie 0 is another favourite rank III of mine. Dunno how it fares in ARB though.

4.3 in RB yeah.
As an added bonus, if you take it to GRB/GSB you got ludicrous CAS firepower (rockets, bombs, .50 cals)
Yak-3 is also amazing but I don’t like flying it (very low rip speed) so I can’t speak in its favour.
I honestly dgaf about GRB and wish I can delete it from my game so I can have reduced file size.
I flew yak 3 Before (3U is probably my best performing prop behind A6M5ko and Ta-152) so i got good enough sense on how to use it. still on edge whether i should go for yak or spit. Mk. IX fly so well but yak is a beast on its own.
