IRL. The C5 should physically burn for 5 seconds longer, pull 5 more G, have 0 guidance delay and have a much better guidance system to make it far more energy effecient.
It should have both increased range (about 40% more ish) and more importantly should be more potent in WVR combat
BOL fixes alone wouldn’t push any of the F.3s up in BR, it still is an objectively bad plane for the current WT gameplay.
Also, if BOL fixes were a justification for the F.3 to move up, what about the Gripen, Harriers, strike Tornados and whatever else planes that carry BOL?
Keep the current F.3 late the way it is then. It’s fine at 13.0 as is, especially compared to the Sea Harrier FA.2.
Sure, though where the F3 can also get 432 large calibre chaff to help it in addition to its 320 BOL flares. The ICE can’t. So may struggle far more at 13.7
The F-14B is an upgrade over the IRIAF in most aspects, it getting much more effective CMs should put it at a higher BR than the IRIAF.
If the F.3 should move pre-emptively, then what is stopping the Typhoons and Gripens from moving up pre-emptively? They already are way better planes to boot and (the Gripens at least) carry a huge amount of CMs as well.
Yeah, that start would be raising the max BR and moving vehicles up in BR accordingly. Better countermeasures don’t really serve decompression, especially not if the well performing planes that get these CMs don’t go up in BR.
All of these planes are at their respective BRs because of their current performance relative to their competition (that means both above and below their BR), if you buff them they should go up in BR.
If BOL fixes are enough to put a Tornado F.3 late to 13.3, then those fixes also are enough to put a Gripen A to 13.3, a Gripen C to 14.0 and a Typhoon to 14.3.
You don’t need ARHs to compete with other top tier planes, SARH and IR are enough, especially when you play like the majority of people and don’t BVR to begin with.
