@Stona_WT Why bother creating a bug report on this and then it gets ignored? It’s happening all the time and is incredibly frustrating. Could you atleast bump the report so it gets looked at?

The only workaround that fixed it for me was switching to Windowed mode. This is despite having an Alienware M16 with Ultra 7, 32GB RAM and Nvidia 4060 with 8GB VRAM. I tried playing around with the other settings but nothing else worked. It’s not ideal and I don’t like playing in Windowed but for now I can’t see any other solution
Disable DX12, go back to DX11
The freeze was not solved in my case even in WINDOW mode.
Alt+F4 does not work, the memory dump file only outputs 0KB, and there is no crash log or metadata creation, it may be a fundamental problem with Windows.
Only way I can close wt is with task manager, when I’m closing it down it essentially freezes my pc for like 30 seconds until it’s closed
I get this all the time too. It’s super annoying. Only in Hangar.
I get a similar issue sometimes, I’ll be playing the game, hear a discord ping, tab out and the game just immediately (crashes I assume) closes, it’s not like ALT+F4 where it’ll freeze before disappearing, it just instantly closes as soon as I press those buttons. I haven’t found a fix for it yet and it’s been happening on my old laptop (Intel I5-10210U, 8GB RAM) and my current PC (Intel I5-12400F, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3050 6GB) using DirectX 11 and 12, it doesn’t change.
oddly enough, ive had the same problem, its a war thunder exclusive problem, i alt+tab to check discord or opera, and the game freezes, and i get a driver hung warning. i have two systems and it affects both
(R7 5700X + RX 6800)
(R5 8645HS + RTX 4050 LPT)
oddly enough, the 4050 one, tends to completely freeze up and has to be closed with task manager, while the 6800 one, just freezes for a few seconds and works fine, no problems in any other game, and this has been a problem for me since the last update
When will this bug be fixed?
Five days ago this bug suddenly stopped happening, but it reappeared after the WW1 event.
I agree, i thought it was fixed too and now it is happening again.
Also the bug where sound gets stuck in alt-tab is the same… they put hotfix with notes on that but it did nothing.

The problem. You can’t. I tried, the crash files don’t generate from.this alt tab crash
@joshje100 posted a report all the way back in January after storm warning and it hasn’t even been acknowledged. What guarantee do we have that new reports won’t be treated the same way?
@Stona_WT, as @capnlunch said back in January I made a report about this bug in response to the very same comment of yours saying to make a report.
It is absolutely frustrating to see you asking people to make reports about the issue but when people do make said reports nothing happens with them. Obviously it’s not your fault that the reports aren’t being looked at but you have to be able to see how frustrating the situation is.
But as a Community Manager could you please just pass this report along in anyway possible?

The Irony, I was submitting multiple unrelated bug reports and as a result switching between the game and the bug report website when the crashes constantly occured, every few minutes or so.
I reported it, but was told “there is a problem with your internet service provider” and the thread was locked so I could not reply.
What should I do?
No you did not.
You discussed your issue with other forum member (and your quote is from him, not from staff).

Or reports being unable to be submitted because the necessary crash logs are generating from this crash?
