Crashes after boot entering Garage

Has been running just fine until today. Now at launch it will load screen just fine and as soon as it drops you into garage, the client locks up and crashes requiring forceable manual stopping of the program. I tried a few troubleshooting options but getting same issue, and when I posted on another external forum, I found out I was not alone with the issue today.

OS: Linux (CachyOS)
Launcher: Steam
GPU: AMD 6800

Things I tried:

  • Freeing up HD Space because i was quite loaded in case it needed cache or shader room.
  • Updating system completely and restarting system
  • Uninstall and reinstall game completely

I have the same issue, tried proton with no dice.
AMD r7 3700x, RX 580.
32gb ram, ample ssd space.
Linux, Manjaro.
This issue occurred today after the latest WT update, I played last night without any issues.
It crashes specifically when the camera pans to the vehicle selected in the garage (bf109 trop), and the daily reward window pops up.

From what I hear, war thunder doesn’t run too well on Linux, that’s probably your issue.

You are not hearing correctly. It runs native on Linux and has for many years, but thanks for your input.

I know it runs on linux, I just heard it had issues sometimes. I dont really know what else it could be sorry

Making sure to provide all required files and information, Including the game version number this started with.

Following up here, after today’s update, my issue is resolved. Game is functioning normally again.
I had already submitted a report using the automated tool when the game crashed, and I didn’t get to use the CBRP. Thanks for the help!
