Lately been seeing an uptick of people playing coastal nay with ships such as the Pr. 206.
I can not find an effective counter to ships like this equipped with gatling guns, everytime I encounter one around BR 4.0 my ship will go from 100% to dead in under 3 seconds most of the time before my rounds even reach the enemy?
Is there any counter to these ships or is it just Soviet bias?

What vessel are you sailing?
Flank + depth charge. Works wonders.
Artillery - Naval Bombardment is the best counter.
Unfortunately the clubbers know that and hover near their spawn where you can’t target them.
The next best option is a fast boat with torps, unfortunately the clubbers know that weakness too and have you spotted as you spawn.
If you are lucky enough to get a large map you might be able to get to them - good luck. I tend to choose another spawn point to avoid them which means I get their Squadmate, clubbers rarely club alone.
One day I hope to be good enough to spawn camp noobs, but that is a long way away.

Really - torpedoes against fast boats? Sure it’s an OHK if you hit, but they aren’t “ideal targets”!
When I see these things the only things I can do when in a lower BR “target” are hide, or get the 1st shot in - the 2nd is great if they are distracted by wiping out one of your team mates - make this a priority, and hope your team is doing the same if it is you being carved apart.
Also pretty much any ship main gun can kill them fairly easily - even the reserve destroyer main guns - fire using “ranging shots” so each gun shoots separately and you have some ability to “walk” your fire and change aim according to their manoeuvring - but it only takes 1-2 hits to kill.
The 3" automatic guns on various post war corvettes/escorts also deal to them very quickly from a lower BR, but mostly get ship spawns - except HMS Peacock and Le Orla - they get boat spawns and are a complete menace
No, not torpedoes against fast boats. Fast boats with Torpedos against the vessels OP was talking about, like the Alcione.
The OP mentioned Pr.206 which has the 30mm autocannon which converts enemies back to stardust in a near instant, and is a pretty fast boat too. A few other USSR coastals (and Germany) have this gun too.
And the auto 57mm one looks devastating too, but I haven’t seen it in action.
(I think the “gatling” reference was just meaning multi–barrel spinning gun)
