Aye, at least with published capabilities the Gripen has a more advanced EW/ECM suite, as well as it’s capable of adding outboard systems. Its much increased cooling over the C/D gives it leeway in adding systems.

IDK, seems a bit too modern to be given, especially with how much it has to be nerfed, which basically means it is likely just to be an AESA Gripen C, with minor improvements, which I don’t know if it will be worth 14.0. It might be better to go for the tech dem, the predecessor before ECMs and better AESA come out together, since Gripen E would other wise ‘standout’ a bit. However I would like to see it in game anyhow within a year.
Too modern? The rafale in game is a 2019 model… EFT is like 2006 iirc
Gripen C is a weird mismash from 1994-2014 mainly taking after its 90s era radar with 2012 HMD again its the least modern. Would make more sense to see Gripen NG added before the E. Perhaps gaijin could actually fix it so that it was beyond screwed up before they decimate the Gripen E. I mean all they need to do to make the E almost entirely worthless would be to just C&P the C’s FM and add the engine uograde and hardpoints and call it a day.

I agree, the EW suite of the Gripen (Arexis system) is second to none and arguably slightly taking the edge towards Thales “Spectra” and BAE systems “Storm EW”. Also, its not just about power output its also about the capability for the system to be able to interpret and handle the information coming in (input) all the way down to the coding itself. But dont get me wrong the Spectra and Storm EW are fantastic.

Also, i would rather wait until we see more features and missiles added to the game before we introduce the Gripen E, better upgrade the C model to a reasonable standard with atleast abit more realistic and competitive performance. Right now its in a really weird position…
A position of underperformance but the moment you bring it up people start spitting. It is frankly impressive how much hate there seems to be for it.

According to many, it is still the best dogfighter apparently.
Talk to literally any of the 1v1 players. Prior to AoA limiter and the dev the EFT/Rafale were the two best dogfighters. Gripen A was and is the best Gripen Dogfighter but the added weight on the C makes it irrelevant to attempt to dogfight on the live as they hold energy better than you do. Only time you win is if the pilot has no idea what they are doing lmao. If you lose in a clean dogfight with the EFT to a Gripen its because you screwed up somewhere even more so against a C model.
Regardless dogfighting is essentially a free ticket back to the hanger as the Fox 3 from a 3rd party rapidly approaches your aircraft lol. At which point the Gripen again has been a worse F16C for the current playstyle of Fox 3’s. Though i guess it entirely depends on your playstyle for this area.
I’m not saying I agree with the people making the claims, but people still make them 😿
And i think the IRIAF is one of the best 13.0’s but theres plenty of people who claim its the worst 13.0.
Love the IRIAF rn, just hop in and turn off brain even better since EFT/F15 players sky climb
It would be nice to have a gripen that could take adequate missiles and a few bits of kit to hit ground targets 😿

The F-2 has multiple variants that gaijin has failled to add ever since we received the F-16AJ or F-16C. They failled to add F-2 before rafales aesa implementation. They failed to add F-2 before other better 4.5 gens its gaijins fault for not adding a plane that could of been added in multiple ways.
Now the only one relevent is a late F-2 and later F-2 ADTW to end the line with its more advance radar.
We also dont know how they will add the plane and what kits they will give it.
But it is a plane that should definitely come soon.
It should’ve been here long ago and its a joke that its not here

Personally, gajin not ready add JAS 39 Gripen E this year if gajin add F/A-18C MLU 2 from finnish next quarter or third quarter
We might wait Gripen E until 2027 or Q3 2028
Again Gripen NG is going to be better than MLU 2 so why would we wait for MLU 2 or need that when the NG exists?
I hope we see the Gripen E, F-2A, J-10C, and maybe even the Mig-35 in one update. Possibly mid-late 2025 if I had to guess. Next patch for the Gripen E and F-2 at the very least.
Unlikely, MLU 2 seems more likely if anything for sweden. Though id rather see E when EW is here since thats the main point of the E. NG would be better until then. No reason to Gimp the E by adding it before we can get EW.
