Could Italy please receive more helicopter-launched missiles? Their helicopters carry far too few missiles, and the current Spike missiles perform terribly. They’re honestly some of the worst missiles in the game.
Most likely next update
The Challenge though is what?
The devs confirmed that Spike ER2 would replace Spike ER, but it’s been a while and we still haven’t heard anything since.

thats not a confirmation lol
Devs were promising helicopters in-between top and lower brs, but since then they have only added Hungarian Hinds…
Yeah, helicopters aren’t very popular, but it doesn’t mean the tree should be completely ignored.
I’m still waiting for at least AB47J, A109AT, AB204B, AB412 and A129A. Plus the tree could accommodate some of Romanian machines like IAR-316B, IAR-317 and IAR-330s making a new line with Hungarian Hinds.
As for Spikes, yeah, they are very slow, but can do some damage, use the closest spawn, spam all of your Spikes to a few targets, carefully and as fast as possible, then reload. Don’t go too high and hide immediately after being locked.
Over the last few matches, almost every time my Spike loses its target, it redirects into a friendly vehicle. I don’t know if this is a bug or not, but it’s really stupid.
oh sr
As far as I understand ER2 wouldn’t make much difference in the game, maybe only would be useful after “man-in-the-loop” feature addition to helicopters missiles, increasing the distance from which you could launch them, but with the same speed I’m not sure if it’d be worth to spend that much time waiting until your missile riches the target instead of just spamming from the nearest point and get to reloading.
If anything AW249 with DIRCM would be more helpful, especially if comes with fnf Brimstones, but I doubt they would model it that soon.
Spike er2 basicaly is only a range i creade to bring it up to the other 2 fnf missles and should have been done long time ago.
About the AW249, i see it as unlikely.
Its at the last development stages.
At this point its better to wait until its completly finished
Again while Increased range could be a nice bonus, the main downside of Spike missiles is their pathetic 200 m/s traveling speed. For example you would launch your ER2 from 12 km away and it would reach the target only entire minute after, compared to like 35 s for AGM-159 and even faster for Chinese and Russian missiles.
Within this minute target can be already destroyed by others or just move behind the cover, not even taking into account that a slow flying Spike is an easy target for modern SAMs.
Even with man-in-the-loop feature I don’t think Spike would ever be on par with other FnF helicopters missiles.
