Cool German captured IS-2

Captured Soviet IS-2 heavy tanks were used by the Wehrmacht during 1944–1945 as emergency replacements for Germany’s mounting armored losses on the Eastern Front. These vehicles appeared in Poland and Germany with German markings, reflecting both their limited historical use and the desperation of late-war German forces. Because Germany did historically operate the IS-2, even in small numbers, its inclusion in War Thunder would be accurate and justified—and, more importantly, it would finally give German mains a taste of Russian bias, letting them one-shot half the lobby while still suffering through a long reload, endless CAS revenge bombing, and teammates who treat capture points like lava.

Unless it was modified I really don’t see the point, it’s not like Germany lacks heavy tanks

Rather have the T34 with 88mm gun, instead of a copy paste.

T-34/88 and Ps. 245 - 1

wouldnt german 75 have muzzle break like panzer 4 or is this like the 75 off a panther F ? ? it also doesnt have sleeves that slide into eachother when it recoils so im guessing if it is a german 75mm its from a panther but did they chop the muzzle off

StuK 40 L/48 off thier sturmi I’m pretty sure, but idk why it doesnt have a double chamber muzzle break. Panther F was a prototype so idk why the Finns would have one

idk but this is a L/48 the one you have there is missing the recoil sleeves
why does it look like that i think it has a modified 75 from a panther not the F my guess is they got one and cut the break off it for some reason

Panzerjager IB Tank w/7.5cm StuK 40 L/48 Gun 1/16 Takom

this is a KWK 42 L70 it looks closer to that swedish t34s cannon in the photo
but im only guessing

Now that you mention it, its kinda weird, maybe they lost the tip. But I doubt the finnish had the panther f cannon.

Looking closely, i think its the 85mm gonna research more

i mean a muzzle break is not neccessary you could probably remove it from any panther D G A which they probably could have bought

Well the only thing I found its the anti-aircraft 75 mm Zenit-Mellercannon.

Because other 75mm finish cannons have muxzle brake. Like the 7.5 cm Pak 97/38. And other 75mm cannons are just too short.

Perhaps it’s a PaK 40 breech but they remade the barrel for some reason?
