after the bug fix on event menu thing now i cant use modifier functions without double tapping them
i use lb as a modifier bind where i can press lb + rb to fire only machine gun and rb to fire cannon and machine gun at the same time
but now after the update whenever i press lb+rb it fires my cannon and this also happens to other binds
the bind for my event menu is L3 and the gunner sights is rb + lb but now after this patch whenever i try to use gunners sight my event menu opens up and ill have to hold rb and spam l3 to open gunners sight and other key binds that depend on rb as a modifier key are also bugged
edit: also idk what devs changed to fix the evnt menu bug but i fixed it myself before the patch
the key for l3 and r3 were changed to some RS and LS and were not breing registered by the game
all it took was clearing it and rebind it which fixed it
edit 2: just noticed this also happens on keyboard too
edit 3: YEY i think they saw this post and fixed it now its back to normal
First off that is some crazy bindings and that is coming form a Xbox player.
I’m suffering the same problems, but we will have to submit more bug reports to get it fixed
Hello, i am on Linux and i have this weird bug too.
Basically my ALT-key is my lookaround key but i also use it as a modifier key.
Spacebar is release secondary munitions, and ALT+Spacebar is open bomb bay.
I cannot close the bomb bay now without bombs being dropped.
Another note is numpad 1/7 is open/close engine radiators, and ALT+1/7 is open/close oil radiators.
Now i cannot open/close the oil radiators without also manipulating the engine radiators.
Interestingly the effect is not present anymore after some time, so if i adjust both radiators a little, wait some time and then try again, only the alt+ keybind is affected.
This is not a ALT±bug, it also affects the SHIFT- modifier key, which i use for SHIFT-i (ignite takeoff boosters), which also turns off the engine (i).
Hope this gets some attention, makes bombers pretty challenging to play xD
Dang lol… If only they’d paid attention to me reporting the modifier issue with the default keys, and taken on board the information and stance I made when the recommendation was to just debind everything and set my own…
