When i open the game, it will work normally for a certain amount of time, varing from around 1 minuite to 15 minutes, before freezing for about 10 seconds, then making my entire laptop screen go black, then stay like that for about another 10 seconds then come up with error 81110012, game will be closed. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, checked the minimum requirements, installed the latest directX version and performed a clean boot. i doubt the updating the graphics card drivers will work, all though i do not know how to. this has been really frustrating as i have barely been able to play a match before it goes to the error and i have to log in to my laptop again every time it crashes too. also the window when i open it is called ‘‘War thunder (DirectX 12, 64 bit)’’ is this normal? unfortunately i cannot send the issue happening as it freezes my entire laptop, but i have images of the error which occurs.
Try switching to DX11 in the launcher before starting the game.
If you have any custom content installed then remove that and see if it helps.

ok the crashing has seemed to have stopped, although i cannot be for sure as i have only had it open for a small amount of time. i cannot find the DX11, although in graphics settings in game i have changed Graphics API to ‘‘Direct3D 11’’ instead of ‘‘auto’’. would this may have helped? i have also reduced some of my graphics settings.
That is what i ment by the “DX11” :) So yes, that is very likely what fixed it in that case.
There seems to be a lot of players having issues with the version 12 of that setting now after the major update.
