Ever since the last major update or so, I get frequent fluctuations in frames per second. I will be at 150 or so…then 38. This is in GRB. Making the game unplayable.

What all do you run? Computer-wise and settings-wise. If you have a lower end computer you may see occasional fluctuations due to the recent addition of ray tracing, had you not disabled it. If you have a monitor setup, check your cables and make sure they’re undamaged. Pull up an app while playing and track you CPU and GPU at points where you may see major fluctuations. If you have it you can use Razer cortex
As above, but more towards the setup of the PC, check that shadowplay or the ATi equivalent isn’t recording.
I find that does cause issue if it’s recording to the same drive as windows and the game, as if you haven’t got multiple drives, then you’re sharing the access times and such.
Also if on a laptop, be sure to game whilst plugged into the power. Power saving starts throttling and doing stupid things.
Also check your temps on your CPU and GPU.
Thanks all! High end computer. Ray tracing is off. Cables all good. Was not a problem before and now only periodically. I do not think it is on my end…this game is about as stable as an elephant balancing on a pin head.
