"Connecting to server"

So, here’s the problem: two days ago, whenever I tried to launch any Gaijin game, the BattleEye update process would start — and it was endless. After two days (today), when the unbelievably stupid BattleEye was somehow defeated (I don’t know how, it just suddenly started letting me into the game), a new problem appeared. Now, when I enter the game, I get a “connecting to server” message that just keeps going and going. After about 30 minutes, I got kicked back to the login screen with a connection error. Honestly, I have no idea what to do anymore.

This is what the situation looks like

Well, I guess you’ve checked all the network-related drivers and your network source and all of that, right? VPNs and everything related to the network.

Of course, but here’s the strange part — everything works fine when I share internet from my phone. At first, I thought it was my ISP, but nope. They got back to me and said the issue is on Gaijin’s side.

Oh, I answered someone who had a similar problem to yours, if the problem is on Gaijin’s side, then there’s nothing for us players to do. Mind if I share the post on the other topic?

Ah, never mind — the BattleEye update window still pops up. It says the update failed in a small window, and then the game launches anyway… where I still get the endless “connecting to server” message.

No problem, do whatever you think is best.

Now that I think about it, how does your launcher look like? Mine doesn’t have the anti-cheat switch:

Have you tried launching without the anti cheat software?

Look, I’ve already tried launching the game without the anti-cheat — it’s all pointless. For convenience, I set the launcher to English. Anyway, the anti-cheat issue is back, and it’s affecting all Gaijin products — I can’t get into Enlisted either. I’m attaching screenshots to show what it looks like.

I see, I don’t know if it’s possible but have you tried updating the launcher? Maybe there’s something wrong with it. Thanks for putting it in english by the way.
Maybe this button does it:

Edit: It doesn’t, it’s just a direct link to reinstall the game.

Yeah, I already checked that. Honestly, it feels like the issue is more with BattleEye than with Gaijin. But I have no idea how to contact BattleEye directly. Anyway, as we say here in Russia — “It’ll fix itself eventually.”

Well yeah, good luck. I have not had problems with the anti-cheat software but as you can see I have no toggles or such things for Anti-cheats softwares. On the second attached image, does it say anything about the update failing and the reason?

No, it says something like this (I’ll mention in advance that I’m translating from Russian to English through ChatGPT)

BattlEye Launcher

19:05:00: Launching BattlEye service…
19:05:04: Updating…
19:05:26: Update failed (1, 56). Please check your internet connection and/or firewall.

Linking you to another topic with basically the same messages (in english):

Try that out if you haven’t before.

Thanks again for the translation, had to use OCR software for the previous picture.

No… Unfortunately, it didn’t help… Alright, I’ll stop trying to fix this piece of shi… this wonderful game for now. I’ll go replay The Witcher 3 instead. Thanks for the help!

Well then, better not to waste time on trying to fix it. Have a nice day.
