Compilation of 340+ missing vehicles in Ground Sim

As I said many vehicles should be removed… with your proposals you are just turning it into 1st person marker less RB with different spawn system.
I believe that SIM folks desire for something else. Gaijin has huge collection of vehicles which would allow to create many very interesting scenarios (brackets) from very historic ones, themed to alternate history one. Those themed setups is something what made Arma/Operation flashpoint so popular and successful.

Gaijin is wasting that potential on roughly same BR team death match. Also Gaijins practice to take some support vehicle and drop it down till is can fight tanks is really unhealthy for SIM.

SIM needs to drop the rule where every vehicle needs to be in some bracket, and start creating meaning full setups with some background tied to maps with relevant environment (like Africa corps on a desert maps).
Removal of identical vehicles, land leased, captured or sub tree is also highly desirable.

If it were up to me rule set for Themed setup would look like this:

  • All vehicles from the same technological era
  • Vehicles should have been in a service at a time
  • Prototypes, land leased, captured sub tree vehicles should be included only for filing serious capability gaps
  • All participating nations should have similar capabilities in MBT, CAS, Light/Recon vehicles etc.
  • Maps rotation should be adjusted for the theme.

But go ahead and continue building big pile of vehicles fighting meaningless death match. From my perspective when tried ASB 10.xx where 6x F4 were circling each other figuring our which is German and which is US was huge disappointment for me and I do not wish GSB end up the same.

That’s great… how about you add that as a suggestion here and I continue to try to get Gaijin to allow me to play my Type 16 more than 1 day in 5… or do I need to unlock another identical tank for day 2?

Or continue to play my Marders in the incorrect lineups because no one points out the obvious error…

Or wonder why I can’t play my M22 in 1_1…

or 200 more weird inconsistencies.


and you know what, I’d love to see your ‘themed setup’…

but how about we face reality… I have about a 2% chance of getting someone to expand the lineups to fix problems…

Issue : Compare the UK ADATS to the Tungska. no gun vs 4 x 30mm guns. 8 x 10km missiles on both. NATO lacks a comparable SPAA in 10_2 compared to the 256, Roland 3s are only effective up to 8km and SPAA that use them have no gun.

I have no idea why this is 11.7 and the 256 is 10.7…

Issue : At 6.3 in sim this puts this as the ONLY jet in allies/axis games… and then bizarrely you can’t play this in 8_2 (which has no other jets) or 8_2_2, where it really belongs… instead it’s in 9_2 facing vehicles 3.3 BRs higher…

If anything demonstrates Gaijins lack of consistency in playing vehicles in ground sim it must be this… it’s simultaneously OVER tiers AND UNDER tiered in sim.

Solution : Probably change BR to 6.7 and add to 8_2_2.
