Community Update No.8: Responses and What’s Coming!

The swiss air tree was long overdue, and should have got added before the Eurofighter was released.

Can get some Soviet/Chinese stuff to fill up, t34s to start with (they do still have those even now) some american shermans somewhere as well. Could just do the Israel thing again and start at like 4.0 for T-34 and shermans with say Mustang, then there is a bunch of copy and paste much like China, 5.3 La11 Tu-2, 5.7 Yak-9, 6.0 La9, funny enough L39 as well apparently. A37 is available as well.

Something I still find hard to believe XD

South Korea vehicles are mostly US-orginated. Chaffes, Shermans, Pershings, Pattons, and an Abrams. The K1 and K2 would be unique variations to compliment the US tree. Which “diversifying gameplay” is Gaijin’s own argument that works here.

I mean I am guessing mostly as souvenirs now, some form of training maybe. I mean China had a 1930s ship up until today. 1940s tank, not unthinkable.

So something you already have?

So a whole subtree of c&p Just to get 1 or 2 different tanks?

Not necessarily, subtrees can also be added to a nation to fix BR gaps, or if a nation Is struggling with their current vehicles (for example hungarian sub tree for Italy)

It sounds like we don’t need a unified Korea tree then. Im lost on the hype here, its just another Russian and American copy and paste tree then. Its China 2.0 for a small handful of unique vehicles that could probably just go into a bigger nation to compliment existing gameplay. What does a top tier United Korea have? What’s that 12.0 line up look like? K2? Or does it only go up to like 11.7 like Japan. Isn’t North Korea’s top MBT a reskinned T-62? Maybe a K2 tech tree vehicle, and a premium K1?

Fair enough

Me personally, i play almost exclusively top tier vehicles
So i couldn’t care less about what can be found at lower tiers.
That’s one of the reasons why i like and play China; i like their High tier and especially top tier stuff, so i do not care if the lower tiers Is a c&p of usa + USSR vehicles

So If the top tier vehicles of the korean tree Will catch my interest, i Will grind them.

Korea afaik has also a big enough military industry to guarantee it’s own stand alone tree

So the previous response is perfect for you then. Send the early stuff back to Russia and the US and China can be a small, higher BR/Rank tree to grind. 👍

But u see, with that logic we go back to the starting point;
why would you want something that you already have?

Why would you want the exact same thing to grind through for a third time? Maybe the South Korean sub-tree for the US is only a handful of vehicles.

Vehicles that (bar a couple of exceptions) can already be found in the american tree?

stay mad lmao no country is suitable for a turkish tech tree

I’ve also seen a few people in this thread advocate for the removal of the ROC line from the chinese tree, in favour of It becoming an american sub tree.

This Is, in my opinion, a completely non sensical idea

“China should be removed from China, and China should be made a sub-tree despite it making up half of the Chinese tech tree.”
It really is a wild take.

Not when 60 plus percent of their tree is from two other nations already in game. “Taiwan should be removed from China and made into a sub-tree despite making up most of the Chinese tech tree. Let us not gloss over or dismiss current events regarding the relationship between the two”. Doesn’t sound so unreasonable at all.

Edit: Just know this is all going to be hidden or deleted when the CMs wake up or a certain Moderator does. It is what it is I guess.

I agree with that. It should. I know it won’t because Gaijin has staked their position but I can agree and echo those who saying it should be moved.

37 out of 81 vehicles are allegedly copy-paste, that is 45%.
RO China has an excellent relationship with itself as well.

There’s no non-malicious reason to support the removal of a China from the Chinese tech tree.
