At low tiers Israel is for a large part a small derivation of the French tree with nice modifications, and Greece will expand this to top tier as well with their mirages and rafales… that’s interesting I guess.
Greece will also add some usa copypaste to Israel of course, but that doesn’t change much since said copypaste is already everywhere

Not a Commonwealth tree (although that’s a possibility, But that leave the UK with out sub trees) A Commonwealth REPUPLIC tree, The Realms and Republics are 2 distinctly different types of nations, the realms still recognize the English monarch as their head of state. The republics do not, in fact there are now several Nations in the Commonwealth that where NEVER under any form of English governance, For the Republics it more like an EU lite.
The idea that South Africa’s relationship with England is in anyway the same as Australia’s is utterly ridiculous.
The thing is, even with a Commonwealth Republic tree you have the issue of multiple Commonwealth Republics already being present in other trees. India and South Africa are British subtrees, Pakistan is a Chinese subtree, Cyprus is potentially going to be an Israeli subtree, Singapore is being split up and Bangladesh is either going to China or being split up as well.
Either Gaijin would have to rip several vehicles out of existing trees and reconsider their plans for Singapore and Cyprus or such a tree wouldn’t make sense.
It would be like calling a tree the Warsaw Pact that only includes vehicles from Poland and Czechoslovakia because the remaining Warsaw Pact nations are subtrees already. It’s just the Poland or Czechoslovakia tree with the other nation as a subtree at that point.
They did that with Israel already when they pulled it out of the USA tree.
They just did change their minds on it and have not implemented either of them yet, so that’s obviously not an issue.

We have already a turkish starfighter in the italian tree, so… who knows where they will put it.
They did that with multiple nations (Italy, France, Sweden and Israel), but each time (except for the very early example of Italy being taken out of Germany) it was a matter of just moving a couple of vehicles, not a full subtree like they would have to do with South Africa.
Britain alone would lose 27 vehicles to this and China would lose 6 on top of that
(not counting event vehicles, not only would they stay in their previous homes, they also likely wouldn’t appear in their new homes)

I was trying to use that as an example for how naming a tree after a group while some members of that group are part of another tree already doesn’t make sense.
Calling a tree “Commonwealth Republics” suggests that not a single one of those republics is a subtree of another tree and that vehicles operated by the republics would only go to the “Commonwealth Republics” tree.
Again, that would require Gaijin to rip 33 vehicles out of existing trees and in the case of Britain fill a massive hole with a bunch of new vehicles (on top of having to work on a huge amount of vehicles for a new tech tree)

Honestly it is completley doable with saladins, sabres, scorpions and many others however I dont think gaijins war thunder team has the manpower to pull off refilling such a huge hole anymore. We dont get many vehicles per update anymore so it would take years at minimum.
