Community Update No.8: Responses and What’s Coming!

Tbh with all this arguing I feel tempted to try make a tree consisting of only nations that isn’t a official subtree or nation but the issue is I have 0 clue how to use the tree maker website and I am not good with br balancing.

yea because gaijin is not adding more vehicles from Romania and hungry

Hopefully they actually add some unique stuff, which the Swiss seem to have tons of.

(Also Swiss coastal when?)

Israel shouldn’t have ever been a tech tree, Any Sub trees or additions are cortroversial the tech tree by it’s self is rather poor and nobody wants to be part of it, I don’t want greece to be part of israel tree maybe add to somewhere else that’s the last tech tree i want it to be part of because it just results to the sweden sitiuation which everybody plays the Finnish part because that’s where the majority of the good vehicle are and guess waht Greece has Leopards 2A7 and many more appealing tanks then the main israel tech tree it’s just going to be copy paste at the end of things

Sorry, C&P only (RIP MOWAG stuff)

Israel has more than enough vehicles. Gaijin just refuses to add them.

“We also saw your comments about suggestions for the Israeli tree. We currently plan to expand the Israeli tree to include Greece and Cyprus to increase its gameplay diversity. We’re also considering including some of these Singaporean vehicles to Israel as well. This will include many interesting vehicles to play and strengthen line-ups within the Israeli tree, as well as include a potential number of future aircraft that wouldn’t otherwise be possible.”

Greece and Cyprus? Why? Are we going to see yet more reskinned vehicles masquerading as new additions? There are perfectly good suggestions like the Ascod 105 right here on the forum.

“The Japanese tree will welcome more Indonesian vehicles, and shortly after, we also plan to introduce some aircraft from Malaysia to strengthen the aviation tree more too.”

In principle I don’t object to this, but given Gaijin’s track record they will throw in a reskinned Hind or T-72 instead of something unique to these nations.

“For China, our current priority will be to add domestic vehicles to help bolster the existing, available roster. We can share that we’re working on a new SAM system for China as well as new top jet aircraft, among various other vehicle developments that you’ll see in the short term.”

Sounds good. China is the world’s premier manufacturing power, but you wouldn’t know it from the implementation in War Thunder.

“We’ll also be expanding upon options provided by Pakistani vehicles to help expand the tree alongside the planned domestic vehicles.”

Al-Zarrar, JF-17 block II etc? Sure. Just please don’t copy-paste any US vehicles in there, it’s totally unnecessary.

“Plus, a popular US made main battle tank to also bolster the ranks.”

Sigh…

“We also have plans to implement a standalone Korean research tree nation with vehicles from South Korea and North Korea.”

I don’t know why Gaijin is hellbent on combining vehicles in the stupidest way possible (especially when it will cause controversy given the historical and current status of the nations in question). These two don’t have enough unique vehicles regardless; make them helicopter-style subtrees.

That’s the point why Greece might be more useful in Italy than in Israel lol, Israel does not have the problems that Italy has in comparison
