And why is that that the f15e and typhoon are miles better than the f18. They have the same missiles. The EFT has even fewer of those missiles. And yet it’s not even comparable as to how the EFT dogs on the f18
Because we already have an F-16A with AMRAAMs - and it’s at 13.7. I don’t see them making it lower than this unless they also reduce this one. Derby is quite a bit worse than AMRAAM, and the F-16D also has a worse FM.

AIM 120 A (and B by extension) are probably the most correct missiles in game tho in most metrics. The Aim120C can physically not turn better than the A and B. The few things that it should have (better seeker and shorter delay for guidance) still wouldn’t make much of a difference
Ef2k because its an insanely strong platform which makes up for the subpar missiles. And f15e i dont know. I dont think its much better than f/a18c at all rn
F15e is a rocket which compresses like no tormorrow and has pretty meh maneuverability even low. Ef2k isnt
The better question is why did the F-18C get the AIM-120C in the first place? Typically worse platforms don’t get better missiles. Airframe performance is supposed to correspond with missile performance per Smin.

Thats a stupid assumption, aim120c-5 doesnt state any change in maneuverability from previous models, it does accelerate slower(which should allow it to pull more aoa on launch)
