Community Update No.7: Talking About What’s Coming Soon!

No theyre not.

Thats a stupid assumption, aim120c-5 doesnt state any change in maneuverability from previous models, it does accelerate slower(which should allow it to pull more aoa on launch)

Money

Do u think the news about the T-14 Armata tank droppin soon in russia is real or the company ain’t plannin somethin like that?

Why though? Its a pointless niche and the f15e has literally only that. Why is ef2k allowed to be cloae in perfomance ti f15e in bvr when its overwhelmingly better in every other scenario already?

“New”

Does the new interactive radar clicking stuff work with cyclic targeting on? Otherwise I don’t see much use in it.

So, US can dominate in BVR theatre… Again. But got forbid any other nation can match them?

Hey, since planes with big CAS guns have AP belts (most of them, anyway), they are counted as using “strike weapons” which means the SP cost will increase for aircraft with “strike weapons”, like mentioned in the post:

aircraft equipped with “Strike weapons” (bombs, rockets, AGMs, torpedoes, mines, AP piercing belts).

Russia already has the Pantsir so will it’s new AA system (most likely the buk) be added with it’s over the horizon radar to make it viable at 12.0 since it’s radar set isn’t great compared to other top tier AA?

Mate the ef2k is the second best aircraft in the game at mis close range. The f15e is beaten by most 13.7 at that. Yes god forbid i want the fast as fuck rocket to be the best at bvr when thats all its good for

Cool. So now American top tier jets will have AESA radars… or i’m wrong and yall were refering to any other tt besides the U.S

Yeah super hornet has aesa

Ah. So spawning with ground belts on one aircraft would increase the cost of all aircraft with ground belts.

Thank you

oh-no

What about gunpods? Theres some which are there for air to air and others for air to ground. Just curious how those will be dealt with. I assume/hope it will be the case default/not AP belts will be considered the same as air to air weapons?

Otherwise a whole host of vehicles which rely on gunpods for air to air will have a bit of a punishment.

EG Strikemaster 7.62 gunpods dont actually have a belt choice, SK60 AKAN pods with an air belt, phantoms with 20mm pods for air to air and so on.

Meanwhile the A7E 30mm pods are pretty obv ground attack.

Yeah US will get one this patch, unclear for other countries what will be the case.

Lmao. Ok, mate

So does this mean when the autoloader gets disabled the turret ring will also get disabled, if its true then its a huge W.

What about aircraft with anti-aircraft belts that have a couple of shells that penetrate enough to incur an SP penalty? For example, the air belt on GSh-30-1 incurs an SP cost because of its single APHE shell. Will these be classed as “strike weapons” or as anti-aircraft weaponry?

We havent said this. Just before your post is taken out of context.
