Nah like the pearl harbour attack 300+ plane it will be cool 300AI plane tryna drop bombs and torepedo each team or probaly even more plane because more ships.

well gaijin will not agree that because that will cost too much server and make match more lag maybe

it won’t because custom battle has probaly 10x the amount and barely lags.

Naval doesnt have that yet now just with 16v16 ships the ships desync and lag behind or forward nearly every battle.

it not gonna lag and 16vs 16 ships just dosen’t feel enough. You want more and the best if there like 20 torepedo bomber coming every 5 minute.

Whats the issue with it?

Not a lot will actually change, except now you can toggle between modes without needing to go into the control settings first. With this change, im far more likely to actually use secondary guns with primary instead of leaving them on AA only the entire match, which, if anything, might actually make it a little easier for CAS to actually spawn in without immediately being fired upon. Also then deals with the annoying problem of having to go into the settings and switching modes when I swap ships from something like Vanguard with good AAs to something like Rodney that has none.

This is overall an amazing QoL change that shouldnt have even been needed. This setting should have always been a keybind toggle and not a setting buried in the control settings

maybe someone replyed wrong part,i mean naval do not need new way of the spawn cost for planes,and I agree go into the control settings to toggle secondary guns is annoying

Ah, my bad, thought that was the only bit about naval in this thread. I dont think the SP changes will change anything for naval

but i think SP changes will break naval BR 3.X~4.X and 5.X maybe because these BR has chance to get enough SP for spawn 2 planes and some ship needs CAS to balance them.And i mentioned i think there is nobody spawn plane for intercept enemy’s plane at first.
Well plane can not hurt any part of big ships without bombs and rockets so that back to my opinion ,a plane without bombs and rockets is almost useless

How I read it, this change will mostly make it so that aircraft designation no longer plays a major part in the SP cost, only loadout does. It means you can spawn a fighter with bombs and a fighter without. Instead of perhaps having to rely on a weaker strike aircraft or bomber specifically so that you could still spawn a fighter in later.

It will need some tuning, but I think this is a good first step for the overhaul that SP really needs

just to be clear, in the situation when: i spawn Rafale with hammers and MICAs, dies, i try second spawn Rafale with only MICAs then ill have SP cost increased bc of the first spawn?
