Honestly if they really wanted to give the states a supersonic AMRAAM slinger at 13.0 or 13.3 (sadly the AV-8B+ is high subsonic) they could add the F-4E AUP to the Tech tree. It is essentially a F-4F ICE thats heavier than the ICE but gets access to tons of A2G weaponry and would be good at 13.0
For 13.3 the ADFs are gonna be kinda mid as they dont get TWS or DL and a subpar amount of CMs for the BR. Something like an F-16D blk 50 or 40 at 13.3 would be good :D

I just wish it mattered in the game with AA. This just needs to be balanced for the sovetsky, they cause havoc in the enduring confrontation. it takes 3 good battleships just to take it on
So it turns out I was wrong here, the ADF was actually used by the USAF ANG up until 2007. And as such it obviously almost certainly used AMRAAMS as well.
Regardless, I do think the US TT should atleast get an F-16A ADF (Early) as well that is identical to the ADF we currently have ingame at 12.7. I believe this would satisfy everyone.

It really is. It should get AIM-9Ms or at the very least the AIM-7Ps that it could carry historically, ideally both if it’s possible without having to have it be moved up to 13.3.
So the Stingray is gonna be tech tree for both Japan and the US, right?

It absolutely deserves 9Ms, but I believe the question of 7Ps was raised already and proved to be un-used due to compatibility issues. There might be another sparrow variant though. For now it just need 9Ms, Aim-54A/C buffs, and engine heat fixes (which ofc would require an overhaul of the entire system).

Huh alright then, didn’t know that. Are there any other aircraft in-game aside from the F-18s that actually could use them? Cause the way I understood until now it was pretty much just the F-18s and the F-14B, but as you pointed out the latter turned out to be false.
Anyways, yes I totally agree about the other changes to the F-14B you lifted up as well. Engine-heat may be too much work for them to do but the very least they could do is give it 9Ms and buff the AIM-54s like you said.

Hopefully you consider China for an actual SAM system. Unless your aim is for China to have the worst system at top-tier once every other nation gets their SAM.
