I think a dataminer found they were using purely gun SPAA (shilka and vulcan) for below 9.7 and at the higher BR (10.0-11.0) were complemented with a nerfed OSA (less missiles?) as well as a rapier (with less missiles as well?). I found it in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbolhVxYl9Q from 11:20 onwards. I think in another one of their videos they link the datamine source but from what I can tell, not in this video
it can also become a RAAF suggestion with honestly even less changes.
I appreciate the relevant British Empire dominions are all together for the most part (Canada deserves the spot more than india yet is still in limbo) but we really do need some care given to the current ones first. India has nothing of note or worth rn (Arjun will at least be unique)
south africa has a solid ground tree but only has one (rather trash in the current meta) plane when they could add some wacky but actually fitting aircraft like the Cheetah, Impala and their buccaneers. mostly as its not soviet hand-me downs like what we were given from India with the Bheeshma, Bison, Osa and Strela, they stick out like an sore thumb in the british tree

Theres is also the Marut but like, 1 event vehicle does not a India make sadge.
its 8.3 yet the 8.0 domestic equal is far better because of the engine. the vijay could probably get away with 7.7 if it lost that HEAT shell
Marut is also pretty mid, only thing its got going for it is the air spawn in ARB

My problem with getting more subtrees is that it’s more competition for who gets to have their vehicles in the tree
If Canada also becomes a subtree Britain will have 5(!) nations competing for space in the tree

thankfully the empire/commonwealth mostly used the same vehicles up until the late 50s so its only when british industry started self sabotaging (or being ruined by the government) that everyone else’s native designs truly start to really flourish.
A balance can be found where each others strengths compensate for each other while getting good representation, Canada and Australia are already doing pretty heavy lifting with the Hornets and abrams, south africa single handedly carried light tanks for years. few more things sprinkled in such as the AS1, Huntsman, Cheetah and some variants of vehicles more notably used by colonies and we have done them proud

Could solve it if they’d literally just make tabs in nation tech trees. One as domestic, export/imports/prototypes. You progress the tree through domestic, unlock others in the BR once you have one of the coresponding domestics unlocked in that tier.
Or they could just make more nations available and stop sub treeing everything.

I really wish there was some news about Submarines, but other than that absolutely nothing to complain about from me here!
-Bombers not having explosive bolts anymore
-New Ground Map
-Nuclear Escalation getting close to being completed, with lower BR’s
-Improved Ground Assets
-Better MFD’s for us Simulator people
-Smaller player counts have nothing to do with me, I just wish we had more night battles particularly for air!
-The J-out mechanic has no bearing on me because if I show up on a Naval Conquest map then I am J’ing out and returning to hanger regardless of who gets the kill for it… But if it makes everyone else happy then so be it.
