Community Update No.12: Keeping You Updated On What We’re Working on!

Korea was a much longer term consideration and not something to be expected anytime soon. We were speaking about our far future considerations when speaking of Korea. Not that it would be the next or even closest nation.

Yeah it really seems like issues get fixed based on how many people complain about it rather than who needs the fix more or who has been waiting for a fix longer.

Why?

Will Israel get a new top-tier MBT for this update alongside the new Jet?

I’m really expecting a Greek Leo 2 lol. 😂

Some of us also requested it to come in the form of the F14D(r) with
Grumman F-14D(R) Super Tomcat — Ah Here We Go Again - #65 by Nostalgistic and putting a br higher than the premium variant
Or even the fact the some people also want it to have Aim120A

As much as I like the Leo 2A6EX, I’d much rather play an armor-buffed Merkava.

I know for sure the french hate the idea of their toptier going to another tree.

But yeah, I doubt their complaints would actually lead to something.

You mean fix the armour on the Mk.4s? Because I don’t think there is any other Merkava except one with different sights

Yes, I would too. However, the company will probably just take the easiest route.

There are better Merkavas

I think the easiest route is just adjusting the number modifiers on the composite Israel currently gets, not modelling a Hellenic Leopard 2A6 livery lol

F-14D did not have AIM-120. That was an experimental version of the F-14A. The TT version will be the same as the premium variant at the same BR.

Which exactly as far as I remember the next best from the Mk.4M is one with different sights

Merkava Mk 4M-400: A Next-Generation Upgrade for Modern Battlefield Resilience
I think I mean this

MK.4 Barak

The f14D also did testing and was capable for aim120 and only need a software update for it to be used this should also be well know even this document say the f14 is capable of AMRAAMs

Can you at least say if these three models will be used in the near future? Or shouldn’t we expect them this year?

The Merkava Mk.4M 400 is basically the same tank as the earlier Mk.4M, just with one notable addition: the ELO-5220 OTHELLO hostile fire detector. By contrast, the Merkava Mk.4M Barak brings a much more substantial set of upgrades. These include improved composite armor, an enhanced Trophy active protection system that’s now able to intercept drones, and the Iron Vision system (which may offer third-person thermal views).

For reference.

Merkava Mk.4M Barak

Another 12.7 Merkava is more welcome but until they fix the armour I will take my 2HEL over them

None of these specify the F-14D had AMRAAM.
