While im not mad at the fact norway keeps getting a bigger part in the Swedish Tech-Tree. I questioning if we really need this, the EldE 98 already features the comparable armament and this is likely to end up at the same br as it. So would it not be better to focus on the lower tiers of sweden like 4.0-7.7
The Lvkv 42 with its limited ammo and very poor turret crew protection and the Veak 40 are both not all that great against aircraft with slow ammunition that is still not fixed, the U-sh 204gk is horrid against anything with 10mm of armour thanks to H-VAP fragility. And the Finnish ZSU-57-2 is okay i guess against aircraft at times but its almost never used as a SPAA.
We really need something for those BRs sweden really does get bullied by aircraft at lower tiers. And they dont offer a whole lot in the way of defence against Aircraft.
We should really get vehicles like the:
(Swe)Lvkv fm/43 (Swedish version of a Duster)
(Swe)Tridon (40mm HE-VT on a Armoured Truck)
(Finn)Ford 098T with 20 ItK/40 VKT (dual 20mm Gun truck)
(Finn)Sisu SA-150 with 23 ItK/61 (Finnish ZU-23-2 Gun truck)
(Nor)NM 195 Luftvernpanservogn w/stinger pod
(Den)GMC CCKW 353 (M55 Firling) (Another Quad 50 cal turret)
So while this isnt the worst addition im just questioning why we are getting a side-grade to the Elde 98 when there could have been more useful additions sweden needs to help out in matches to defend against aircraft…
There is always a possability there is one of these vehicles in the major update but i highly doubt it sadly.
Yes please! Sweden has an astonishing lack of usable SPAA, the one that I’ve found works best is the 2.7 one and even that one has atrocious turret traverse and elevation. All the Bofors 40mm AA are better suited for anti tank work.
I hope your suggestions have been posted before and passed to the devs because my God. Other nations have M42 contra aereo, Duster, M16, a whole platoon of BTRs, Ostwind and Wisbelwind, Hanomags, etc. Meanwhile Sweden has slow firing TDs…
A DD would certainly fit the D-Day event but a rare variant such as a British Sherman 76 would be fantastic. I recently spaded the US M4A1 76 and it was a breeze.
Lol no. Get ready for some more Hornets, SU-30s, and Eurofighter variants! Still plenty of top tier slop to add. So much easier to copy and paste with a new skin!
Wonder if the floatplane Spitfire would be one of the 3 Mk.V-based prototypes built (1 with Merlin 45, 2 with Merlin 46), or the LF Mk.IX-based one (Merlin 66)
