I think the reason for it is that Gaijin wants this to be an Esport. Thus everything needs to be fine tuned & balanced. Due to the F-15 flying like a brick and the F-18E being incredibly slow they can’t fix the balance in a realistic way without giving new weapons to the F-15s I would bet Israel will get The F-15EX or EXII this year as well.
If you want to feel true pain, play the F-16I at 14.0.
6 missiles max, radar ghosts a lot, no NCTR to help you identify what you are shooting at (if the target even exists) and a heavily outclassed flight performance by the Rafale/EFT.
EDIT: bonus pain points if you limit yourself to only AIM-120C-5 and AIM-9M (it didn’t have AIM-120Bs on release).

But we do have several RARDEN wagons, and both service and export CVRTs have a lot more to offer.
Except… Typhoon and Rafale arent even allowed in the Tournements. But F-15C GE is I think. They dont need any buffs for them to have a notable advantage

Not on PC so Im stuck with wiki but there it seems like a slight upgrade of the F-16Cs radar which havent ghosted on me (unlike CAPTOR-M). But lack of NCTR would be felt massively on a top tier plane, yeah.
if im reading it correctly, its engine has somehow less thrust than F-16C,which like, lol.
it also doesnt seem to have BOL pods, how many CMs does it carry? and does it have MAWs?

I expect the tournament loadout to change.
I think the main point is currently the F-15 platform can’t compete in game with modern platforms like the Typhoon or the Rafael. They were conceived in a world where those platforms didn’t exist. I believe this is in the name of balance. At the end of the day I’d take my Gripen C over my F-15E any day of the week. There is no fixing the F15s FM.
I would rather use an American F16C in a full up tier than the F16I in a down tier.

i dont think its too bad, but the way i play top tier is the exact same way i play the CF-188, throw radar missiles in head ons
C-7 is already in the game on the NASAMS and CLAWS and as per usual it just has copy paste stats from the C-5 so it honestly wouldnt change anything

Question about this.
Ive never seen what the UI looks like with 11 slots, Does it actually fit into the UI or does the 11th get cut off the UI like the nuke plane does when you have 10 vehicles in a lineup?
If it does get cut off is gaijin ever going to make it fit into one screen?
