Community Update No.10: Starting The Year Off!

The reason i am going with GB is due to Indian subtree which would give GB rafale, SU-30MKI, MIG-29, It already has Eurofighter and gripen, hence i would be able to play most vehicle without grinding other nations :D

Is there a link for this in the PSN store? I cant see it on my console.

Are you planning to make that bundle available for console players as well?

I wonder who will win first in bvr, typhoon firing aim120c5 first or f15 firing aim120d after???

no ofc not
why would they care about balancing
you’ve demonstrated this with the rafale

Yea i noticed that mistake too, but there is other sources too such as this archived Selected Acquisition Report posted on the National Technical Reports Library.

Typhoon. Can pull faster and get into the notch earlier.

both will die if they dont notch

I want to be honest here: I highly doubt a Rafale goes to GB. I can see the Su-30MKI going there, it’s basically a Su-30SM so no real funny business there (if we ignore the plug and play nature of its air to air armament :P)

and can also guide missile while notching thanks to its radar

They won’t stretch that far, also giving amraams to the Rafale would mean they would either have to make a US missile useable or make the Rafale mid, none of these can be

Will Aim-120B/C5 reports actually get fixed then?

They are barely competitive vs R-77-1 and MICA EM as it is, Now they also have to compete against Aim-120D and PL-12A which will also both be a lot better. Heck Aim-120B is weaker than PL-12

As it stands the Typhoon and Gripen E will barely have competitive ARH missiles

We have 2+ year old reports for the Aim-120 just sat accepted

No it wouldnt ?
The pl15 has a whole different body and clipped fins and is document to have around 250 km+ range
You can do quick research its not that hard

Based.

Well that would be sad :(

Makes sense, 100km in 90 seconds is an average of ~3.2 mach, so a top speed of 4mach+ matches that.

I think meteors biggest strength and what makes it to advanced for WT currently is the variable engine that automatically adjusts in relation to the targets speed and direction for maximum performance and range.

pls something for Japan (particularly the vacant Malaysian subtree line after G8N1 to MiG-29N)

seems fairly consistent with m3.5 cruise (comes out to about 1000m/s at high alt, also roughly where peak efficiency for ramjets is)

Spoiler

Two way data linking as well, it should be a very tenacious missile.
