Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation CA-27 Sabre Mk.32 - "The Hunter Down Under"

Meaning that CA-27 Mk.30 with Firestreak and CA-27 Mk.32 with AIM-9B should be be added.

This one doesn’t have cannons though, but would be kinda cool.

this would be great to see in the british tree as part of the commonwealth soon, would be nice to go after or before the hunter

+1 pretty neat

Mk.30 would need some ahistorical cannons to be added, but I’m for it.

Also, wouldn’t be opposed to just having the Mk.32 with the option for AIM-9Bs or ahistorical Firestreaks.

There would be nothing ahistorical about the standard fit 30mm ADENs on a Mk.30, or the Firestreak trials aircraft.

@Razielkaine told me about this beefed up sabre recently. Engine from a hunter, guns from a harrier.

+1 for british commonwealth TT

This is pure hopium but, in light of Indonesia’s addition to the Japanese tech-tree, Gaijin could hit ‘two birds with one stone’ seeing as this is a unique variant of the sabre not yet in game.

One to wherever the Aussies want their Sabres to be and another one looking just like this in Japan.

What I meant was that the Firestreak trials aircraft didn’t have cannons. Look at the pic… you can see the gun ports are faired over.

But I agree with your point! Combining features from multiple Mk.30s into 1 aircraft would not be ahistorical.

Someone needs to add this to Britain’s previously suggested list. I didn’t see it there, and almost started writing up a post myself.

Not a British aircraft, so being under other-aircraft is correct

I was under the impression that sub nations go under the main nations thread. I do apologize if this assumption was wrong.

They don’t, but even so, Australia has not had the pleasure of being dubbed a sub tree in the game.

Shame that, as I do believe there is enough stuff there for one.

no i think they’re being dubbed as part of the commonwealth tree for Britain

Nothing official has been said. Yes there was a rearrangement of the UK ground tree for more Commonwealth and export vehicles. But Australia was not labelled a sub tree so the risk of our vehicles going to different tech trees to each other is still there.

true but Australia is in the air tech tree now and was put there under the commonwealth name

I mean, the Commonwealth hasn’t been officially called a sub either, and neither should it be since it is HUGE and way too big to be a sub that fits in the UK TT.

true but what can we do but wait and see
