Not amazing illustration but you can see that the MCV has an add on composite on the front in comparison to the RCV
America??? Stryker dragoon? when? LAV3? when?
Thank you for your reply. It’s a shame that it’s not available in the RCV version. I’d like to see an armored version someday.
Not approved. There was a place to attach a file, so I attached a pdf from the Ministry of Defense, but should I have put it as a URL?
Ehhhh… It’s fine. Apparently they have an internal report ongoing about the presence of the proximity ammo, I’m just guessing one financial document wasn’t enough for them as a primary source.
Wrong APFSDS Round have been marked as not a Bug.
Also i made an Report about the Name
Incorrect Name for the RCV (P) // Gaijin.net // Issues
In a “Budget Request” they called it “Common Tactical Wheeled Vehicle Reconnaissance Combat Type”, so CTWV RCV (P) would be appropriate.
Name got changed on Dev Server version 2.38.0.20 to “CTWV RCV”.
Report still labeld as acknowledge but technicly its fixed now
Why do they add a vehicle with a singular interesting feature and than don’t bother to properly implement the feature, you can’t even look over a basic structure with it, using third person is more effective than this.
Perhaps a dumb question, but what’s the keybind to raise the antenna/commanders sight?
Same keybind as the one for raising/lowering search radars funnily enough, “Switch Radar/IRST search on/off”.
Default is alt-R from memory.
Huh, never thought that could be it. Thank you!
No problem
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves and exagerrate…
The mast is still very useful even at this basic height.
Could look over this ridge and spot things easily that other tanks just can’t. Lot of places in maps that have spots that were made so that you couldn’t see over without exposing yourself and now you can look over easily.
That’s where you can use a drone anyways
The mast is useful even at the 1 meter height it has, however imagine that with 5 meters, you would be able to see across cover and would be far more useful. 5 meter pole would essentially be a recon drone which can be repaired quickly if damaged and you could scout targets across both sides of the map for your whole team
Drone can’t give you the scouting bonus or constantly mark the enemy for you.
Oh yea, but saying the current height is useless is crazy. It’s still unique and impactful but of course it could be better.
Drone can’t give you the scouting bonus or constantly mark the enemy for you.
Which is why it would be nice to have he proper range on the mast so you don’t have to find a few specific places where it might be useful.
I noticed in penetration analysis that if a spall liner is damaged on one side of the vehicle it will also damage the one on the other side. I can’t test it in battle yet as I don’t have the vehicle, but I posted a bug report anyway: Community Bug Reporting System. I’d appreciate if anyone can add evidence of this issue occurring in live battles.
As the Common Tactical Wheeled Vehicle - Reconnaissance Caution Vehicle was implemented as part of update 2.39 Dance of Dragons,
Moved to Implemented Suggestions. o7
