Colombian Kfir Block 60 (Upgraded C.10) for Israel

this is actually true, our country doesnt even mount p3 for training, we use dummy sidewinders or straight up p4, whole point of the b60 was the avionics upgrade including making the pylons python 5 compatible, thus making it unable to make the python 3 work under the upgraded avionics, tho it could fit on the pylon it will be death weight as it wont be able to work

And yet gaijin gave us python 3 insted of 4 man thats sucks

Is there really any sources for Python 3 being incompatible?

There isnt a source that the kfir b60 can take p3

I have a question that I cannot find the answer to -

Will the Derby Fox-3s be better or worse or as wonky as the R-Darters currently are on the Gripen? Was there much of a material difference between the two systems?

Their data and performance can be regarded as C&P in the game.
As far as my personal experience of using Derby on the F-16D, it can only be used within 10Km and can hardly be used in Bvr combat.

U can bvr with it very well in high alt im even gonna say its better then aim 120 in 30km shot if u 10km alt bcuz its very fast of the rail way more then aim 120
I reccomend use the f16c cuz its lighter then the f16d but tbh now with the f15e and uf2k its kinda immposible to bvr against them

Drerby is a bit better then r darter but still kinda the same pull hard and have good range but not amazing
kinda jack of all trades
If u want to do a long shot i reccomend u the help the missile with a loft so it wont need to loft itself and lose energy in the process

Okay - so akin to Darter (Fox-3 with an identity crisis that thinks it’s a Fox-2)…

Oky-doke. Thanks.

U can bvr in high alt if u not getting uptierd with f15e and uf2k

R-Darter = Derby, just few minimal differences due to local materials

Last time I checked files, they’re the exact same, just like irl

There is some difrences in the files but they are minor if im not mistaken derby is a bit lighter which make it with little more range and more agile but yea it isnt rly noticeable

none, my country doesnt reveal much if anything related to vehicles in service, but by common sence its expected that a 1980s missile wont be compatible after an pylon wiring upgrade for a 2000s missile, but just as there is no source that it can, there is none that it couldnt. (not even a single picture, since every b60 only carry p4/5)

Sooo it kinda safe to say it cant take p3
Only 4 and above but gaijin doesnt care with their double standart

I mean common sense would have backwards compatibility as a thing.
Upgraded wiring doesnt necessarily mean any backwards compatibility doesnt exists, i.e. Israeli F-15s can use Python 3,4 and 5. Regardless of upgraded wiring.

Anyway, Israel’s own unique ammunition seems to have received some kind of “special” attention. From Python4 to Spice, there are various reasons to prevent them from appearing in the game.
At the thought that Python4 will use a non-infrared imaging guide head to welcome Aim-132/AIM-9X/IRIS-T/AAM-5/PL-10, I can’t help but feel humourous about the balance that Gaijin has been talking about.

actually no, we left the pythons 3 for an defense a2a missile for the supertucano, most of them are in storage as many of our pilots find it useless on the current world to have such old missile, but once again, b60 never carried them.

Any reports on the cockpit being the wrong model? internally it has a frameless piece of glass, externally it has the 2 beams. IRL it has the 1 piece of glass, im yet to see a photo of the block 60 with the frames (and the internal cockpit view backs this up).

Spoiler
