“Col cuore e col motore oltre ogni meta”.
History.
The phrase “With heart and engine beyond every goal” was a famous phrase among Italian troops during the Second World War. It was used by the 99th, 100th and 116th “Treviso” Infantry (and Motorized Infantry) Regiments and by the 182nd Autonomous Torpedo Bomber Group.
The decal.
The decal itself is composed of the words “Col cuore e col motore oltre ogni meta” (“With the heart and with the engine beyond every goal”) and it is divided into two lines. In the first it says “Col cuore e col motore” and in the second “oltre ogni meta”. The writing is slightly concave.
