Yes, considering Air RB matches devolve into giant dogfights and furballs. Plus the flight model of the Su-27 is not even accurate to real life. Although it has the best radar missile in the game so far, they are kind of useless most of the time/cant be used to their full potential because everyone hugs the ground and nullifies its effectiveness.
The different battle ratings for aircraft is deeply flawed.
There is an exponential difference in effectiveness between TV and laser guided weapons. Having the AMX (laser guided only) and the F5E (TV guided only) at the same BR makes no sense at all.
Effectiveness of AA - why are we at the point where radar AA still needs to be manually guided?
Map design - many old maps have no cover at all at spawn points, which makes stand off aircraft exponentially more effective, dramatically influencing statistics.
Right after they correct multipathing, make helicopters the giant screaming targets for PD radars that they should be, correct their damage models instead of being big hulks of nothing, and give them actual flight models not fantasy. Until then helicopters have no place in Sim

B) Oh you put an unique vehicle in the event instead of the tree, how disgusting of Gaijin to do so, now only people who were here for the event can get it.
Pick one, half of the community is never happy regardless of what Gaijin does. Luckily nobody is forcing us to participate in any events. Go for it if you want the vehicle, pass on it if you don’t.

What we need is not to increase the weight of attack aircraft in Ground RB, but to reduce their weight in Air RB. Such adjustments are not wise
why are the 11.3 strike tornados not going to 11.0 in air rb when they’re the exact same in that game mode as the 11.0 ones?

That’s a funny joke. Tornadoes when laden are outran by almost anything at the BR that carries rockets. Even a fair number of planes that carry bombs.

Basing vehicles off of Era is terrible, where there would be little balance,
being “realistic” in that sense is much different, i doubt anyone wants a Panzer II fighting a KV-1, or a T-55 fighting Challenger 2s, Churchill I Vs Tiger I and then some nations would cease to exist in some periods. where bassically all their tanks are early/mid 1930s and then go stright to 1943/44
I would like realistic matchmaking if it would be balanced, but without artifically nerfing some vehicles heavily it would just be impossible,
the BR system is by no means perfect, but it is better than year based matchmaking, boy cannot wait for a Ha-Go to fight a Maus it just would not work
it makes 0 sense for the Tornado IDS ASSTA 1 to be .3 BR higher than the Tornado IDS Marineflieger, they are effectively identical in air RB
yep, they are very fast when slick, shame it doesnt translate when any payload is involved

extend that to all Tornados and then include prop bombers which are just food then yourself a great point
