7300kgf =/= 7800kgf

Its not the same number, use a calculator it will tell you the same
its simple math, how do you even create an account here without knowing that 7300 doesnt equal 7800.

Saying its equal is like saying 5 is the same as 8, its simply wrong

So… no ray tracing for AMD in the next major?

I mean… Namer and Merkava’s ONLY saving grace is somewhat good CE protection… it’s like, literally all they have going for them right now…

takeoff thrust should be 8000kgf as soon as intakes open - there is no “but for dogfighting it doesnt matter” as it matters in stallfights

The thrust at mach 0.4 should be 7800kgf, not 7300kgf (like you just proofed it is) - case closed

What excuse now? will you bring out the “but russia fakes their docs”-line ?

I’d like to see some Q&A on an artillery mechanic of some sort. I’d rather not use my 2S3, M109, etc. as a glass cannon and use it for what it’s made for.

Or it’s an Akebono that has fought 150+ battles a day every day for the last 4 years.

i think if we could simply just click on the map to rangefind the gun it would be enough for now - agree tho arty pieces are very mid and mainly just more meming people

I did some calculations on this in the past and came to the conclusion that a large majority of artillery currently in the game would overshoot even the larger maps at max elevation, and even if you could park on slanted hill to aim high enough for the shell to hit the enemy spawn it would take the round such a long time to fly that anything you aim at would be long gone once the shell lands. x)

Q: Bluewater fleet trees are mostly seeing the addition of pre-WWI, WWI and WWII ships. Will we eventually see Cold War or modern ships in 2025?
A: The game already has ships from the Cold War era, but more modern weapons such as long-range anti-ship missiles and all their accompanying mechanics look like a rather difficult challenge to implement in a real-time online PvP game. So at the moment, we can’t yet give exact forecasts or even guarantees that something like this will appear in War Thunder.

No, never please.
This will ruin naval battles. WW2 only and some cold war WITHOUT missiles.
Bravy is the perfect exemple of cold war cancer

Yeah there should be an alternative fire mode for artillery pieces, so they could actually provide fire support to other players

Ive reread this like three times now and it doesnt actually convey any new or worthwile information.
It basicslly reads as “The Firebirds update broke some things. Sorry about that. We’re working on fixing what we can”. To which I think all of us here would say “Well duh, we hope so.”

The rest of post is just “We have plans for 2025. Exciting stuff. But we cant say and we make no promises”. And again…No duh. We would hope so.

@magazine2 Any chance we get a do over on the questions and answers?

Like:

Q) When can we expect to see equal options or counters to the Pantsir for other nations? The performce of this particular vehicle has been a hot topic ever since it was added. Can existing top tier SPAA for other nations be buffed to an equal state as a short term fix until Gaijin can add other, more capable SPAA options. I think we can all agree here that Russia absolutely doesnt need another SPAA option for the next three years at this point.

Q) What additional actions are being done to address spawn camping besides just narrowing some maps? Can we expect map redesigns to those Gaijin just narrowed with out-of-bounds areas and perhaps AI assisted assets like AT platforms that can be added to spawn points in ground battles like we have in all air battle modes?

Q) When are the AI AA assets positioned around airfields actually going to be fixed? Half the time they shoot at enemy aircraft, half the time they dont.

Q) When can we expect Sim Battles to see some TLC? New targets and objectives like armored trains, factories, artillery positions, radar installations, etc. Can we expect the massive nerf that gut Sim battle rewards when Gaijin attempted to stop bots from just sitting on runways to be addressed and possibly reversed?

Q) Is there any work being done in regards to a WW1 component of the game?

I know, but why should it be expected that all air munitions should kill all ground vehicles every time?

If Namer and Merkava Mk.4 have something, is a conically thick and dense armor specifically designed to withstand even Koenig missiles, and it doesn’t even reach those levels ingame.

Cut them some slack… if they were able to withstand a missile, good for them, it’s all they can boast about… they are near useless in every other way… good CE protection is like their only selling point as of now.
