yep, they kept the russian jets with under BR’d missiles as a band aid fix ever since they fk’d the fm up and since then have not yet been bothered to actually look into the fm further to deal with the root causes of the poor performance. If they simply just delt with that then the jets would more or less be fine (in addition to fixing the radar scan pattern - which has an outstanding bug report just sitting there since like june)

Additionally, if all goes to plan, in the December major update, the devs plan to add profile background customization. There will be 7 free profile backgrounds that the player can choose from and ways to get other ones through events and for Golden Eagles. As mentioned above, no promises if this will come in the December major, they may be pushed back to early 2025, but they’re in the works!

Avatar frames will also be added as well, perhaps in the December major as well.

Steam already done all work for you for free, why not just link player customization with Steam?

Soviet jets don’t have under-BR’d missiles.
Mig-29 9.13 is 12.7 not 12.3.
And the Mig-29SMT is just part of many under-BR’d AMRAAM carriers [the literal definition of AMRAAM, not any specific missile, I might say AMRAHM… hmmm…].

This is false.

As the charts in the MiG-29 handbook say the thrust should be 7800kgf per engine (so 500kgf channelloss per engine)

the ADV-29 system (air intake flaps) does affect thrust irl, but not in warthunder.
If you make a custom test map and make the MiG-29 flow statically in the air the thrust stays the same at roughly 6850kgf per engine even tho the intakes are now opened.

This reduces its thrust to weight ratio from 1.14 at 60% fuel (13000kg weight total) [attachement 2] to a thrust to weight ratio of 1.05 at 60% fuel

The Bug forum mods refuse to accept this incorrection as gathering data with WTRTI is forbidden - they dont want it buffed.

we both know that adding the ER when they did was a TERRIBLE decision and it was a tremendously under br’d missile that fk’d up the entire balance of top tier until 13.0+ jets came along. I mean thats been discussed at length already in other posts so no need to go into much again here. But that is specifically what im referring to here, i would not consider the r77 under BR’d myself - nor do i strictly think the r73 is either for the most part given the comparative platforms they are on.

Q: APCR is generally seen as a weak round, making it almost always redundant when another round is available. Do you have plans to make this shell more functional to give it a stronger place in the game, either with more reliable damage or angled performance? The round often doesn’t feel fun to use.
