Closest Caps should be Capped

On maps that have 3 or more caps the closest caps should be auto taken by the team that spawns nearest. I’ve noticed on certain maps that have multiple cap points too many players go light/fast tanks and yolo towards the closest cap for an easy 300 points but then go into passive mode. A lot of the the time the majority of the team makes a beeline towards the easy cap with no one actually wanting to attack the contested zone.

Would limit the dumb rush with tanks that or low value that many players employ if the flags that are within short distance of the cap start off under your teams control.

Wouldn’t that defeat the idea of having 3 caps?

People have the option to do whatever they like and play the game as they see fit.
The maps have been ruined lately to accommodate one way of playing as far as I can see.

Do you think than having it taken will change their behavior ? Also a light tank is not mean to go first to combat, you stay passive supporting ( scout, repair, some non existent teamwork)

lets just remove the conquest element from conquest why not?

so let me get this right… You are upset that the light/scout vehicles are doing their job to cap the point for the team, and your upset they dont go face first into the enemy heavy tanks to die…

Had to verify it was inferior to the APCBC round before liking.
I can understand exclusively using APCR in the 90mm tanks, cause it’s just the same angled pen with far more flat pen; that one makes no sense though.

That would also make grinding slightly harder as people can no longer earning free points lol


His KD will be double or even triples if he had been using the APCBC.
