Then dont get the F18. You dont need a second air premium and the F18 is not good enough in ground rb to warrant uptiering your 2A4M into 12.3
Then id honestly wait until the anime 2A4M goes on sale. 2 12.0 premium tanks should be an insanely fast grind
i usually don’t play sim for a very good reason: it’s HARD (at least for me).
the first time i played sim was with my Su-27 (the first one, not the SM).
guess what… teamkilled 2 of my teammates, got expulsed from the match and lost ~100k SL while i was already poor, and i ended up with 7k SL.
is it a good idea to uptier the 2A4M to 12.3 using the Leopard 2 PL?
The Mirage is a pretty strong plane I would definitely recommend it to grind out the rafales and the mirage 2k 5F. The early F18 might be my favorite premium, really like how much missile i can carry and overall the F18 early has a pretty solid flightmodel imo. And for the russian tanks, the T80UE1 is the best option or you can go for a 10.3 lineup with the 2s38 and turmst but imo the t80 is a better option.
Its alright but remember that the PL is not a premium and therefore will only be good for researching from rank 7 upwards
Well if you have troubles playing fighter planes, you can play only bomber then (if you know how to fly in sim). Avoid any player like the black pleague.
Yeah you will find almost no difference. But as H_ngma_ said, PL doesnt have premium status so you will recieve a very big research penalty (not worthy). Wait for the gooner leo 2a4m disccount, and use daily backups for now.
The mirage is very overpowered. The F-18s are also, but if I had to guess, they’re gonna be nerfed soon. The Mirage has been in its OP state for a while now.
yeah im not sure if the F1C-200 will be still good in 2025/26, there’s a lot of planes that can counter it very easily just like the F-18 or basically any 13.0 plane like the Su-27.
hopefully playing with the fat french plane doesn’t feel like playing with the israelian 12.0 speedy Mirage with Python 3 and 36 CM at 12.0 (i still don’t know why it’s at that BR).
whatever, i think one day i will ask one of my TEEF squadmates how to play sim and maybe escort me to some bases to grind easily till i already know how to play properly.
i have many problems deciding what plane to grind XD
all of them look cool and have very ez playstyles/OP weaponry, but i don’t want to spend another 80 bucks for 2 premiums that im going to use for 3 days till im tired cuz i suck.
A little tip: In your radar one bar its enemy, and two bars its ally. At close dogfights its very easy to get confused between allies and enemies (like when the whole match fighting to capture A), so its normal to sometimes get teamkills.
nah i already know that, the problem was that in that moment i didn’t know that TWS was a very handful radar mode so when i used SRC PD i thought the bars appearing in my radar were enemies.
now i know how to use TWS and i know that circle means enemy and circle + little bar below it means ally
i was still a mess playing toptier back in time, it was my first toptier jet and i was just enjoying flying a massive plane with curiously insane maneuverability
Go for the mirage then, with the f18 there is a chance you gonna suffer bc no irccm missiles and you have to hard rely on the aim7p (and uptiered against aim120 and fakours).
Mirage 12.0 br its more chill. 35G irccm and good radar missiles. (I had a hard time facing mirages in sim using the f4f).
how is the F-18’s playstyle? kiss the ground and launch AIM-7Ps at 10km? cuz if it’s that playstyle, i already dominated it with the painful Su-27SM.
From what I faced while playing F-4F ICE and Kfir c10, F-18C early planes killed me with their aim7p even when flying low. But with a simple multipath hiding between hills and mountains should be enough, at close ranges when they cant use the radar missile, they get killed by irccm missiles (like my aim9l/i) while they have aim9L. And that just 13.0, 13.7 could be worse.

Agreed. Unless you are in a bigger uptier like 12.7 or 13.0 you and the new jh7 prototype are the only 2 aircrafts have irccm with you having one of the best irccm seekers in the game if not the best.
it’s a Su-30SM with worse missiles in a lower BR, i would rather prefer Su-27SM with better engines than the same plane i can unlock after the Su-27SM with better missiles, radar and TVC.
