Seems like a lot of top tier MBT’s will be getting spall liners except for Chinese tanks. I took a look in my copy of Jane’s Armor and Artillery 2011 but there is no mention of spall liners in the Chinese MBT’s, which isn’t exactly unexpected (spall only pops up ~60 times out of over 1k pages). I also did just a quick Google search to see if there’s any place really claiming they do have them, which one does claim it for the ZTZ-99’s.
Does anybody have any information on any Chinese MBT’s and spall liners? I would like to put together a bug report if we have some confirmation on this so Chinese tanks don’t get left behind with the top tier changes.
