The current situation is that under high dynamic pressure (aka IAS), the PL-12 cannot generate sufficient pitch moment to achieve the needed angle of attack. As a result, its maximum load factor at low altitude is capped at around 21g at about Mach 2.1, and any deviation below or even above this speed leads to a drop in available g‑load.
Devs cooked so bad that I’m having food poisoning right now.

PL-15 extraordinary stable missile for hit 300 kilometer so we do not believe ability for overloading in excess 12g required. Mainly for hit cargo aircraft such as raphel. We adjusting overload with some excess for avoidance of player complaint.

The only differences between the PL-15 and the PL-12A are smaller wings and a longer radome.

Prolly I got confused cause the pl-15e tip is much sharper/pointier than the blunt one of pl-12 which gave the illusion to me of the pl-15e being more pencil-like

However, the most critical components—such as the warhead and motor—can be confirmed as completely identical, which is why I think Gaijin’s recent changes to the PL-12A are so poorly done. And this will indeed affect the PL-15.
Isn’t pl -15e dual pulse while pl-12ae isn’t?
Both seem to be dual pulse with the exact same motor. The slight range difference comes from the PL-15E having significantly less draggy fins and a streamlined radome
