LOL fools thought, they only added an a on the name, changed the statcard and added gnss, j-15t is doa
wouldnt say its DOA, iirc its the flanker with the current best flight preformance and a meaningful upgrade over other chinese flankers currently in the tree
48 cms makes it doa.
sure, fm, missiles, radar are good. but youre gonna die easily in matches
forgot about that. any CM pods it may be able to carry?
Never had any, and also most of the things that are good about it is in relative to much lower BRs, like J-11B. Against 14.7s all it has is disadvantage.

Kinematically, seem to be essentially the same as python 3, other than the fact that it’s an all boost motor for 3 seconds instead of boost/sustain.
Has basically the same specific impulse over essentially the same amount of time (slightly less though)
Largely expecting python 3 flight performance wise except with faster acceleration when it eventually comes into the game
since its basically a modified Python3

check the J-11 thread
Overall decent buff for 12a but decent nerf to normal 12
With the overall missile length unchanged, the weight increased by 16 kg while the fuel only went up by 8.8 kg. I don’t consider this to be normal data.
Why is it the sustainer that was improved? If I remember correctly, it’s the booster that was improved, using the same one as the PL15, and the sustainer is the same. Am I wrong?
what would probably be the proper changes done to simulate the motor difference then?
Is the Distance from CM to Stabilizers measured in meters?
If so, moving it to 0.12m would mean the Center of Mass (represented by a super uper duper accurate green dot) is like 5 inches from the Stabilizers…
It is known that the original PL-12 rocket motor is 1980 mm long and the actuator section is 340 mm long, so the propellant section is 1640 mm.
Based on pixel measurements of a PL-12AE photo, the motor appears to be about 2450 mm long; subtracting the 340 mm actuator section gives a propellant section of 2110 mm.
Even if we completely ignore the almost certain upgrade of specific impulse, the PL-12AE’s propellant section is 28.66% longer than the original. Based on the original PL-12’s total impulse of 151,800 kN·s, the PL-12AE’s total impulse should be 195,306 kN·s, yet Gaijin has given it 172,030 kN·s.
Should someone try and write a bug report?
Cant, calculations arent accepted neither are pixel measurements afaik
Should Pl-12A have a top speed of Mach 5?
edit:
Yes, apparently.
