I am pretty sure I saw sources on newer generation IR sensors using ceramics material involving rare earth metals.

J7H has PL8 and is better suited to join BR 11.0
That is an interesting prospect, although I suspect such a material may only be partially made of zirconium as it can cause crystallization in the glass while being manufactured.
Although from what I can find this is only in glass treated during transitional temperatures.

Armor, and the vehicles modelling height. Like I said before, the Chinese tanks size seems off for being a T-72 based vehicle. If it was smaller like the Russian tanks, it would help reduce the size of weakspots.
Current thermals being gen 2 is okay, most tanks in game use that, but if it is Gen 3 IRL, then it should be Gen 3 in game, it can help at very long ranges in making out weakspots on enemy tanks.

Is there a reason that despite being almost identical in size and weight, the range is significantly less than a mica? I assume the range of mica is using the ARH seeker and pl10 the iir seeker. But both missiles have an ARH and ir version.
Although it seems the pl10 is almost always used as ir.
