Chinese Air-To-Air missiles, History, Performance & Discussion

The with the j10c knowing the position of the target its own radar can find it more easily. As a baseline

LD-10 is now accurate stats wise but still does no damage and the PL-12/LD-10/SD-10(A) is now more draggy while on the pylon (and got their max speed that they could reach increased, means nothing) with the latest Dev update (CM102 is still C&P)

it does do damage (actually much more than pl12 with bigger warhead), it just still has proximity fuze so it self destructs barely damaging radar of ITO

so it does no damage

cm102 using type88 warheads.Gaijin is still “praising Chinese missiles.”

And the PBXH-4’s TNT-equivalent ratio suddenly sitting at ~0.83.Lmao

PL-15 updated (it’s worse than PL-12)

Bro

Didn’t they nerf all missile in terms of explosive mass?

all useing pbxn-4 missiles eavily affected by the ratio change 1.28→0.83(aim7,pl12,ld10).

PL-15 will deffo get changed

Poor PL-15, its total impulse and delta-v are so damn low. lol

btw kinda wrong thread for this but at low alt the CM-102 is slow as balls and loses speed with sustainer active, it deffo does not do a min mach 3.5 cruise for any substantial amount of time in its 100km range

No less than = Maximum speed?why is that?

picking a random number above that will cause consistency problems between other equipment like why did X get more than Y

If Gaijin accepts all missile flight speed data in this way, then I have no objection.

thats how they do it for every thing

they take the highest concret number

type88 and phxn-4 is over

    "dhl_1": {
      "strengthEquivalent": 1.3,
      "brisanceEquivalent": 1.4
    },
    "pbxn_4": {
      "strengthEquivalent": 0.83,
      "brisanceEquivalent": 0.85
    },
    "tp_88": {
      "strengthEquivalent": 1.3,
      "brisanceEquivalent": 1.3
    },

for comparison

This ratio is incorrect; it should be 1.54.
6443/4184=1.5399≈1.54

Would anyone be willing to join into a custom match with me to compile a comprehensive list of performance results by testing the PL-12 at different altitudes and launch velocities?

I’ve tried one report but it got shot down using a very stupid excuse which doesnt make sense if you think about it

Not only do they not give any values for their so called “optimal conditions” but the BRM also hits me with the stupid copypasta “appropriate source materials” when ive given NOTHING but the primary sources I.E. 2 versions of the SD-10A brochures that agree with each other.

If anyone is willing to help me execute the trials, lemme know.
