Though not fully scientific a lot of interesting “decals” tend to come from times of heavy conflict and drafts (you bring in lots of random people and likely wont punish someone for drawing on there armored vehicle even if its violates the rules) China has a draft system it just has no need to use it right now she has enough people enlisting. I know Chinese units especially historical units have physical items connected to them if I remember right one is a leather belt from WW2 and the civil war. If your looking for emblems China does have whole Peace Keeper core they use there own domestic vehicles and make identification emblems in the language of the nation there in so people know who they are. (good way to also get feed back on some equipment like improve dust filter)
