@kleinerPanzer Is WA321 gun same as ZPT-98?
I would imagine it’s the industrial designation, but I cannot be 100% sure.
Correction: After comparing the MBT-2000’s gun to ZPT98 and Type 88C, it looks more like it uses the same gun as the Type 96. This would also make some sense as the Type 90-II/MBT-2000 family was developed before the Type 99, but again, I don’t have hard proof of this.
Hello my friend, i was wondering what round the MBT-2000 is likely to use ingame. Will it be the Pakistani DU APFSDS round or chinese DTC10-125 or DTW-125
Pakistan has 4 different rounds
125-I
125mm ARDE
125mm Naiza
BTA4 (DTW-125)
But it will come down to 125-I and BTA4 in my opinion. If the MBT-2000 gets 125-I then I suspect BR of 10.0
If it gets DTW-125 then it might be 10.7
Pakistans most common 125mm apfsds by far is the 125-I
Probably no chance it gets the Naiza round as it is a DU round.
Also what is the ARDE round?
The ARDE round is copy of 125-I but with improved lighter sabot design which increases the muzzle velocity
Pakistan’s 125-I
Improved version of it by Pakistan’s ARDE company
Penetration:
125-I: 245mm @ 2000m (60)
ARDE: 250mm @ 2000m (60)
BTA4: 300mm @ 2000m (60)
Since I suspect at least 30m/s velocity increase
It looks like its submerged in chocolate milk.
So basically its almost the same with only minor differences
Chinese probably.
I have some documents where name of this tank’s gun is mentioned. It is written as W321.Maybe you are right it could be a industrial designation. Because that document mostly had part number instead of name.

WA-numbers are common for artillery guns, for example PG87 is WA709, WA9049 for the gun of PCL181, or WA717A for the PGZ04A
If the document is the spare parts list for MBT-2000, I have seen those too. They mention WA321C and WA321D, I suspect the former is Type 88C-125. However this is still speculation, so take it with a grain of salt.
That’s reasonable. 140mm gun started its development between 1990~1995, as soon as the development of ZPT-98 finished. The specification I gave above is from an essay published on 1998, means 140mm gun had been made before that.
The real length (include Fin) is 870mm long.
They stopped adding the Prefix “Al” with the Pakistani Tanks. It’s Haider not Al-Haider.
Thx, do u have the source?
Now it sounds like some 40 year old dude’s name
It’s named after the Prophet’s companion Hazrat Ali (R.A) one of the greatest Warriors of his time. Never thought a Bengali can get this immature.
Never expected this answer from you.I thought you would take it as a joke.
Also Haider is a common name for people born in the 70s and 80s.If you want to name something after a special person then you should write his name in the correct way.Al Haider would have been more respectful and appropriate. Also why do you have to point out my ethnicity?
You do realize Religious figures are sensitive topics right? Was pointing out your ethnicity cus you guys are normally aware about it.
